This is a place that we find ourselves going to time and time again for brunch. it has been consistently great: service, food and atmosphere. It is a must try place if you are in the Andersonville area. I can remember when the place used to be the Balmoral Tap (good bar) but I am happy that the owners of this restaurant are doing so well. Everything there is good; they have some great variations on some basics: corn biscuits, a variety of other fresh bakery items and a laid back atmosphere. The patio is small, but the inside tables move pretty fast. Come anytime for some awesome tea and sweets.

So they dont do wedding cakes, but they seem to do just about everything else and thats pretty nice! Very convenient location on Clark, easy access by bus. I sampled some of their baked goods and found them to be wonderful and fresh, display items regularly rotating throughout the day. The staff was friendly enough, dont expect too much though. Prices were on the expensive side for even basic items, this is to be expected though with the quality of the goods. Can be very busy around holidays with orders, get in early.

I went to this place with a few friends...my food just didn't seem to be prepared quite right. My friends didn't seem to have a problem with their food, but I felt sick later on. I wish I would have tried something different, as no one else in my group had the same thing I did. I will probably not go back. Prices were ok.

This cute bakey is a great place to sit and nosh or to just grab a bite and run. They have a good selection of breads and cakes, though the slection can be limited to some chocolate hazelnut combination. If nothing else try their orange poppyseed bread - it's great for breakfast.
PROS: Free coffee on Mondays
CONS: Some may find their selection limited.
