I needed a few repairs on my car: rust removal, bumper repairs, all over detailing, etc. I compared a few estimates and felt the most comfortable with this place. Ryan was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, the car turned out great, and the cost and time to repair were exactly what I had been told up front. I would definitely recommend them!

I visited a number of body shops before visiting this shop and read all the reviews about the shop on google. The positive feedback/reviews was too good to be true. The personal touch of treating their customers, their honest quote and estimate made my decision FINAL. My decision was to use this shop. I was not hesitant in my decision. These guys proved that the reviews are correct!!! This is a Top of the Line shop. Again I visited alot of shops and this shop is head and shoulders above the rest!!! Use them - you will not be dissappointed!!!

I had Halloween vandalism done to my car in October 2008. I took the car in for repairs through my insurance. As of today (late December), the car has been into their facility three times and is still not repaired correctly. The paint is beginning to bubble after less than two months and my newly installed convertible top was installed incorrectly, rattled, and let in wind. The solution to this consisted of attaching a silver bar on my window to stabilize the top instead of just taking the top off and re-repairing it correctly. Also, the top that was installed is not the one that was originally on my car when I brought it in.

Yes, it is definitely time to talk to a manager but when you call, you are on hold for at least 5 to 10 minutes while they find one of the 8 "managers" in the facility to help you. I have asked to speak to the main facility manager and was told that there isn't one (definite smoke screen). Sigh... All I want is for my car to be repaired and not spend the entire holiday season running back and forth to their facility, obtaining numerous rental cars, and being disappointed in the state of my car.

I would strongly deter anyone from taking their vehicle to this business, unless they just have a lot of free time and enjoy drama.

Pros: Drove some nice rental cars while waiting for my vehicle.

Cons: Repairs are sub-standard.

West Loop Auto did a very nice job on my car. There service was very fast. We will definitely be recommending their service to others. They cleaned my car very nicely. Was not expecting that! They went above and beyond my expectations! Their the best.

I was referred to West Loop By State Farm Insurance and I must say that West Loop is Top Notch. I was amazed by how helpful everyone was there. I am very satisfied with the work done on my car and I would definitely use them again.

Not my first time here - unfortunately, but when I get into this kind of car trouble - West Loop is always there for me. The office kept me informed the whole time. I had to get my insurance company invovled this time and West Loop walked me thru the process. NO HASSLES!! They also have a new remodeled office which really nice. Definitely not like your "typical" dirty body shop. Good quality work and did not take too long. This is my second time here and I will use them again. If you need your vehicle repaired I would suggest you go to West Loop. A++++++

My auto insurance company referred West Loop Auto Body after I filed a claim. I had deep scratches on both sides of my car due to an unfortunate accident in a car garage. I worked with Ray, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond his call of duty to get my car fixed and looking like new. I highly recommend West Loop Auto Body for a stress free experience.

My experience is very similar to the other person I noted that rated this place. I can't begin to tell you how horrible the whole experience was. Everything the previous person before me said applies and I have more. I finally got my car back after a very long wait. They had not even repaired the rear end of my car. There are so many mechanical issues with my car, it rattles when I drive it, it groans when I turn right, left or stop. It makes the loudest grinding noise that it hurts my ears when I first take off. It is a BMW with 50,000 miles and I never had any problems before. Now it is a piece of junk, and the auto body shop says that it is wear and tear on my car. The people there are 100% incompetent. Don't put yourself through going to this place. Nothing of this transaction ended up good for me. Even the brand new hood on the car was on TWISTED, they couldn't even get brand new parts on correctly. Allstate was the insurance of the other driver and they sucked too. Both sides say, its wear and tear on your car, I think they were in bed together. Funny, the two cars before this I drove for 250,000+ miles and never had any issues whatsoever. Now I have a premium car that is known for how long it lasts, and I have "wear and tear" on parts that I have never had to touch on autos with 250,000+ miles! MY FINAL WORD IS "WORST NIGHTMARE I EVER HAD", A VERY EXPENSIVE CAR RUINED IN THE HANDS OF DISHONEST, INCOMPETENT , HORRIBLE AUTO BODY SHOP.

MY TOYOTA CAMRY WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT MY DEALERSHIP SENT ME TO WEST LOOP AUTOBODY. WHEN I CALLED TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THEM NOT ONLY DID THEY TAKE CARE OF SENDING THE TOW TRUCK THEY HAD ONE THERE OFFICE PEOPLE PICK ME UP . I RENTED A CAR RIGHT IN THE BODY SHOP FOM ENTERPRISE IN LESS THAN A WEEK THE CAR WAS DONE . LOOKED BETTER THAN BEFORE IT WAS EVER DAMAGED GREAT PLACE AND GREAT PEOPLE ........

I've submitted a few reviews for this place regarding my experience about a year ago and I see it's still not posted so I'm going to try again since I almost feel an obligation to the public to save at least one soul from going there. My car was backed into and needed a door panel to be replaced and painted. FOUR--yes, four--trips back later, it's at least close to the color of the rest of the car--it's grey, nothing wild or fancy. I also had CDs and all the change stolen out of the car. The receptionist was incredibly rude on the phone and person. She laughed and sneared at me when I asked whether there was a shuttle or someone available to drop me off at my office in the Loop. Every time I talked to the manager or service person about re-doing the work, they assured me I was seeing things and that it was a perfect match. But, as soon as the manager would step outside to look at the car he would pretty much whisper "what the heck????" under his breath since the color was so far off. To top it off, the receptionist said they'd touch up the few paint chips on the mirror with the extra paint but they would charge me extra for it.....any other place would do it for free. I can understand someone going there for the first time because of its location. Even if it's more expensive or less convenient to go somewhere else...do it! I can assure you, going back to this place multiple times to have something done right is anything but convenient!

West Loop Auto was absouletly the worst auto body experience I have ever had. Everything from their customer service to the repairs was beyond horrible, I can't believe they are even in business. I own a luxury car that was in an accident and West Loop promised me their best service, first mistake, I believed them. My car still isn't ready after three and a half months and when they tried to return it to me it had scratches all over the body of my brand new car. The inside was covered in black oil on my new leathers seats. They are the most disrespectful people my family and I have ever met. Never I repeat never take your car here unless you want your car coming back looking worse then when you brought it in!

This body shop catered to all of my needs. They worked well my insurance company and the experience, overall, was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!
They offered to pick me up from work to get my car with no questions asked!
The vehicle was only one day late, but I blame my insurance company moreso the body shop.
The girl in the office was very pleasant and I will never forget Richard (he was a great help).

I would recommend this Auto Repair Facility to all of my friends and family!

I had a car accident last year. And I found this place because it is close to my office. My bad experiences with this auto body shop are as follows:
1. Never on time. The whole repair process last for three months instead of half month as agreed when I checked in. Even when they push back the pick up date, they never call me in advance to inform me I don't need to go at that day.
2. Very Bad custom service. The front desk girls who answer the phonecalls and do some paper work when you check in have no patient. It is like you own something to them and you are the repair crew and they are the custom. It is just not right. The guy in manager level is the same thing. Everytime he agrees to call me for checking something for me in next day. He never did!!!
3. The finished work is not acceptable. The final day which I went to pick up my car(I already started to prey let this experience over), I found out that the engine check light in the front panel is still on. And my car's logo in the front is still missing. I was so mad.
4. The extimating cost for this repair is keeping up as the process goes. From the original around $6000 to around $9000 finial, which exceeds my car market value already(about $7500). When I asked why you guy didn't recommend this car is totaled when I first ask for professional idea, they just "smiled" back to me. My insurance is a good one. But they had to pay extra money to settle down this accident because of their estimate.
I would strongly recommend not to go to this place. It will end up like a nightmare.
