Some musician friends of mine were playing there, so of course we went for the whole experience. A very cute and kitschy location, friendly service, and lots to choose from on the menu.

When I first walked into the Heartland Cafe, I thought I was walking onto a film set. The restaurant is beyond charming, the food is superb, the service is the cat's pajamas, and the Saturday morning radio show is a must-do-be-see. Go!

A mainstay of the Roger's Park neighborhood serving sumptuous meals for the chuncky granolar crowd. More than just a restaurant, there's a book store and gift shop attached with polittically-collect information and items. During the summer, you can eat on the patio. Try the smoothies and the burgers.
PROS: Excellent Food, good service
CONS: somewhat pricey
