Frank Lloyd Wright Prsrvtn

The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio is a beautiful place to visit if architecture is your interest. This home in Oak Park housed Wright and his family for many years. It is a fabulous place that has been incredibly well-preserved. I loved the octagonal library and the drafting room where Wright and his partner(s) drew up the plans for their buildings. The tour guides are great, and know a lot of anecdotes about the family. They can give you a nice little story about nearly every room in the house!

If you love achutecture, you will really enjoy looking at his house and studio. they have a tour guide that will walk you though his house and studio and explain how he came up with the ideas he did for his house. i found the tour enjoyable and interesting to me. learning about frank lloyd and his life i thought was cool and was inspiring to see.

Frank Lloyd Wright had a sweet pad, no doubt about it. the octagonal library is the best. the tour guides always know their stuff and you can even take walking tours through the neighborhood to look at other houses he built.
