Well, in an area that worships BBQ, this place is for out of towners. The ribs have no color variance, they just come out one solid dark burnt color. The sauce has a watery flavor and there is only one choice of sauce. Don't go late in

17th Street Bar & Grill conveniently have two restaurant locations within the Southern Illinois area: Murphysboro and Marion.

17th Street BBQ is not only a great restaurant to go to eat, but they also have an amazing catering business. A few of my college organizations have organized dinners that have been catered by 17th Street, and we have yet to be disappointed!

The pulled pork is amazing--and the place is known to have the best bbq ribs around (they have won many national awards for their ribs). The service at the restaurant has always been great. For the amount of food we received (entree with two choices of sides), I did not think the prices were that outrageous. The great food was well worth it!

If you like BBQ & just so happened to be in the area, don't miss the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to eat at 17th Street Bar & Grill. They definitely know what they are doing when it comes to slow cooking ribs, and their sauce and "Magic Dust" is to die for. And when you're done and on your way, just smell your fingertips to make it all come back again.
