We missed Slice of Chicago while they were building the new restaurant and carry out. We were slow getting back to them. But we are back! We are pizza lovers. All kinds and I especialy love Western Pizza. Have ordered twice recently and have to say they are great! Lots of crisp bacon, wonderful creamy, tasty, cheese, just the perfect amount of onions and a BBQ base on crispy crust. Yum! When we phoned our order, the fellow was efficient and also pleasant. Pizza was ready for pick-up in 30 minutes, as promised. Even got to use a $3 off coupon. Fairly close to home. Can't beat it. EH

so my husband and I ordered a small pizza, salad, and mozzarella sticks for delivery. The pizza wasn't hot, had zero flavor, about 7 peperonis and the crust was a little cardboard-ish & burnt. The salad was a pile of lettuce with a liiiiiitle sprinkle of parmesan cheese and only 4 tiny shrimps (think nickles) and a small side cup of caesar dressing. We did like the moz sticks though after we reheated them in our oven to melt the cheese, I think we got 5-6, so that's normal I guess but they should have come hot or at least pretty warm. It took them an hour and a half to deliver it on a Tuesday night (we live 5 min away if you catch the red lights) so we finally got it at 9:45pm. It also cost us over $30. When I called about being disappointed, the manager laughed and put me on hold, then the owner told me that I was wasting his time and hung up on me. I guess the same guy owns the Agio restaurant next door too, so I'd recommend staying away from both since the owner obviously doesn't care about his customers.

Slice of Chicago is an awesome place to go for an inexpensive meal that isnt cutting corners on qualty and taste. On fridays they offer a lunch buffet that has some of the best fish fry around along with some great pastas . if you go at dinner time and are planning to order pasta bring your appitite the portions are HUGE. and if you are there on a Saturday make sure you get the cream of chicken rice soup ( its to die for) anyhow its not a very fancy place but its a great little place with awesome food

PROS: Great food
CONS: difficuly parking at times and small dining room
