Blue Bayou

This is a really fun place for a night out in Chicago. Every time I've gone has been on a karaoke night. The place seems big enough that you can be in the back area and not blasted by the music as well.

I spent Valentine's night at Blue Bayou - The band was great!!
Amy Kelly was singing and walking across the bar. I will make sure to go again when she is belting out the blues - Great price on pint Hurricanes, too.!

I was there recently for the first time and I think that it was pretty good. I suggest the fries over the mashed potatoes and the crab cake sandwich was a little small but good. Perfect for a late spring/early summer evening!

Blue Bayou is a great destination when you're in the mood for cajun/creole food and atmosphere. Jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, popcorn shrimp, poboys, yum! It's especially fun to go here around Mardi Gras, if you can't make it to New Orleans, as they book awesome bands. Great outdoor seating area - order a tall hurricane with your dinner and enjoy!
