Mexican Shop

The title about sums it up. They sell a lot of things that would be under $5 or $10 in a market, but here, it is sold for at least twice or even five times that. You are better off scrounging in a resale shop or looking for it online, unless you have a lot of money and are in a rush.

The clothes and accessories are pretty and hip, but are at stupid prices.

At least they're independent (ly grubbing for your money while expending a minimal amount of effort to pocket it?... It's a drag to shop here.)

This store is very unique and has a lot of beautiful clothing and accessories but they are overpriced. Unfortunately, their customer service was poor.

The Mexican Shop has been around awhile, and there's a reason. The owners, who make yearly trips to Mexico to bring back the treasures, know their customers. Find funky youthful women's clothing, silver jewelry, and all sorts of quirky Mexican crafts. My biggest qualm with the store is their hours. They are literally only open until 6PM on weekdays. I am not sure who patronizes this store during the week. Saturdays are absolutely crazy. Expect to wait 30 minutes for a dressing room and don't expect to try on that cute jacket in front of a mirror in the store...it is not allowed. They have an amazing selection of jewerly. Keep in mind that the quality is what you pay for.

Ecclectic and ethnic women's clothing and accessories. Shop owners shut down several months during the winter to find new wares from exotic locales. You're sure to find many unique, one-of-a-kind items here at reasonable prices. Even though it's called the Mexican Shop, not all clothing is Mexican in origin, although there are lots of bright colors and silver jewelery typical of South of the Border. Funky decor makes shopping pleasant and whimsical items make great gifts.
