I saw some of the ads on T V, I took in a 12 place setting of sterling silver flatware, my class ring from 1963 and my wife's class ring, some broken gold chains, native American jewelry from my mother, some of dads old 5 and 10 year retirement pins. I also brought in my coin collection from when I was young, some old silver dollars from the 1800's, and other coins that were silver. The owner, looked over the coins carefully, he found a 1885CC dollar, which he told me was worth over $300.00,I sold my coin collection for $1150.50,the silverware set that we have not used in many years, I was paid $1435.00. My class ring that I paid $25.00 in 1960 returned me $194.00 , my wife's ring was smaller, she only received $55.00. The turquoise jewelry brought $215.00. I was surprised at the amount we received from the broken chains, I was just going to throw them out, thinking they were unrepairable or out of style, we got $285.00. We have planned a vacation to Vegas next month, My wife did buy a ring from the estate jewelry at Jewelry Concepts. We went to 3 other place's to get quotes on selling our jewelry ,place's that also run a lot of ads on T V, we walked away with more then $1300.00 more then the other quotes, and guess what, I kept the 1885CC silver dollar too! If you want top price for your unwanted gold, silver, or diamonds, either go to Jewelry Concepts first, as it will save a lot of time going to other places, or go to them last, and I think you will get a lot more money just like we did. I don't write reviews, but this time I was so pleased that I want the world to know how great the people were to deal with, and how fairly we were treated.
My friends and I LOVE this store. Jewelry Concepts has an excellent reputation in this area and many of us are long-standing, satisfied customers. We especially love the vintage and estate jewelry and the selection is always changing. We can shop to our hearts content without pressure from the helpful and friendly staff. They are honest and caring. They are also creative problem-solvers and try to do anything to make sure that we are satisfied customers. They will even fix fashion jewelry for us. I am the delighted owner of several pieces from there.

THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF HORRIBLY WHEN SELLING SILVER AND THEIR SCALE IS FIXED! My wife went there today to sell some Sterling Lunt Flatware...I weighed each piece the night before and the weight was between 3 and a half and 4 ounces of pure Sterling Silver!....I had to guess a bit on the butterknife as it had a stainless steel blade but just one fork was 2 ounces by itself! This joker at jewelry concepts told my wife she had under an ounce and a half of silver and gave her 40 bucks! I was not there to put the stops on the sale and she didn't know what to do because she said they showed her the scale and it said an ounce and a half of silver. This is pure B.S. I weighed each and every piece and I know it was far more than an ounce and a half! When she returned home I told her immediately she had been ripped and she called them and said I was just there 5 minutes ago with flatware and I think you might have ripped me off and i would llike to return right now with the 40 dollars and retrieve my flatware! Guess what? they remembered her and the flatware but now they wont trade back! They refused! I wonder why? probably because the just ripped off a customer for nearly 200 bucks!!!! Don't go there! I am immediately reporting this huckster to the BBB!
I had taken my grandmas ring to 4 other jewelry repair stores, all told me to just sell it for scrap gold and used diamonds, the ring ment a lot to me, grandma had passed on, and it was a special gift for my bride to be. In less then 3 weeks, Bruce showwed me the repaired ring, my mom went into the store to see it to---it looked just as grandmas ring did 50 years ago, My wife is so prould of grandmas ring, wears it all the time, all my friends and familey now go to jewelry concepts, they by far have the best prices, and best servicve in town. Grandmas ring repair only cost me $176.00 , I would have gladdly paid 4 times that much,

They DO SO send work out! I needed a small diamond replaced on a ring. For some reason, they had to send it to Chicago! And it took almost exactly a month to get the ring back. They weren't even cheaper than the mall jewelry stores where I've had the exact same ring worked on before (and they took only a week, tops!). Sorry, I won't be returning. Work isn't local, takes too long, no price difference from other stores.

This store, located in the North Towne Mall, specializes in fine jewelry at reasonable prices. They also offer fair prices on jewelry repair. The repair is done on premises so they can sometimes fix things while you wait. Enjoy looking around the large selection of jewelry while you wait.
PROS: large selection of jewelry, reasonable prices
CONS: limited to mall hours
