I was having issues with my previous pediatric dentist. My son is special needs and he is scared to death of the dentist, as most kids are. However, I needed someone that was really kid friendly and my other dentist lacked that. I was referred to this dentist by my own dentist and I have to say this was a great recommendation.
It used to take 3 to 4 people to hold my son down, he cried the whole time, they would use a bite block to keep his mouth open and he would sign (non talker) that they were all bad.
As soon as I walked in C.L. Pediatric it screammed we love kids. The waiting room had computer games. At each dental chair the kids had a tv, with kid shows. The dentist's mask, was a animal snout, which my son thought was hilarious.
My first visit there, they made both my kids feel comfortable, and my son didn't need anyone to hold him down. In fact, he just opened wide and the dentist worked his majic.
It was absolutely amazing. It went from being tramatizing to being a pleasure to visit the dentist.
