does anyone know the average price for a dinner reception here? They don't have any info on website and I want to know if it is in my price range before visiting. Thank you!
I recently had my reception at The Odyssey and it was so wonderful! The service from the very beginning was phenomenal. The girls in the office really know what they are doing when it comes to event planning. The day of was beautiful. The room was flawless. The staff catered to my every need. The food was amazing. The chocolate fountain was the hit of the night. I highly recommend The Odyssey. Their prices are very competitive and it was worth every penny!
I just attended a wedding here and the grounds and banquet hall are gorgeous! They do have an upstairs and downstairs, there was another wedding going on in the downstairs ballroom. The mainfloor ballroom has a really nice balcony off of it with some seating and a very big dance floor. The staff was really friendly and moved quick when it came to bringing and clearing the food. This place is great for any event but especially for a wedding!
Place may be nice, but service is one of the worst I have ever experienced as a potential customer. They have this "their way or no way" attitude. They are not flexible and not accommodating at all. NO alternative options are offered when a request can not be met. It may be due to the lack of staffs in a small facility. If planning a big event, especially a special one, I advice finding an event coordinator who is flexible and willing to work with you on the details and a venue that has more staffs to accommodate your needs.
This is an excellent venue for a wedding or company function. It has a spectacular ambience, with a magnificent chandelier adorning the center of the ceiling. The view to outside is lovely at practically any time of year. Only con is I think the food could be better.
We recently attended a wedding at the country club. It is a very beautiful place with a gorgeous setting. The wedding was very nice and the site has a beautiful outdoor area for summer weddings. Only downfall, you need to plan around concerts at the nearby concert venue!
