I loved this Banfield office during the years we had our American Eskimo rescue dog, 2002-2013. We saw many different vets over that time period, and only once did I have just a minor question about the semi-annual exam report given by any of those vets. That vet didn't stay there more than a few months. Dr. Stueve and Dr. Goss were the vets we saw most often over those years and they were excellent!! I have learned that Dr. Goss has just moved on to another practice but we are bringing our brand-new Eskie puppy there for his first checkup next week. There are several vets that came and went over the years that were superb, and all but the one vet left us feeling that they were extremely competent, even though a couple were young and just starting out. They always had experienced backup vets there to guide them. Our dog needed major surgery on his CCL once and he was able to walk well on that leg the last 5 years of his long life thanks to Dr. Goss and Dr. Stueve. I have never felt overcharged there, and all the vets discussed costs with us before anything was done, and I never once felt pressured. I had occasion to take our dog to another vet twice, and that place, though worth the money, was definitely more expensive. I felt the need to post this review after reading the one about Dr. McDermott. She left this Banfield long ago and was the vet we had a minor issue with that one time, but not because she treated us or our dog disrespectfully. This Banfield should definitely not be judged by one vet out of many who have been wonderful for years at this location!

Most of the staff are very caring and treat the dog and family well. The problem is the vets ! They order outrageously expensive tests only to tell you the tests didn't tell them anything they did not already know. Dr. McDermott has no compassion for the family or the dog. I would not recommend her to anyone! We have never had a good experience with her. She does not practice the principles that Banfield touts.
PRO: Wonderful staff and technicians
CON: Dr. McDermott needs to move on and leave Banfield!

First of all it is located in Petsmart so when your pet is done being seen by the vet and you feel quilty, you walk over to the toy aisle and cheer him or her up. Great staff and Doctor, additionally they offer an insurance program. I have even gotten my dog in on same day appointments.

Located inside Petsmart, Banfield animal hospital gets an A+.
The staff are extremely helpful & genuinely caring of your pet.
The doctors go above & beyond their call of duty to ensure your animal's well being.
Not pet likes going to the vet, but once there, they are soon calmed by the relaxed atmosphere & loving care & attention they receive.

PROS: relaxed atmosphere
