In response to Jenny's complaint I find it alarming what Don said to you.....That doesn't seem like his normal attitude. He probably forgot to call you back when he returned. Why he would say go to guitar world after you being a loyal customer just floors me. He must of been on some wacky weed out in California. If he would have read your review im sure he would take back what was said to you and apologize.

I had been a loyal customer to Don's Music Land for years, however a disappointing experience has unfortunately changed that. I took my guitar there to get it re-strung one weekend and was told it would be done the following Wednesday. I went there to pick it up that Friday (two days after it was supposed to be finished), and the clerk retrieved my guitar with a note attached to it that said "done." He proceeded to give it to me, and I asked him how much was owed. He apparently thought that I had paid ahead of time, and when I told him that I hadn't, he said that he would have to call Don, the owner, who was out of town to determine the amount that I owed. After speaking with Don, he informed me that Don was the only one who could make up a bill, and that I would have to come back another day to pick up my guitar, even though the work on it was finished. I live out of town and work odd hours, so this was an inconvenience to me. I asked the clerk to have Don call me when he got back into town -- he never did. I called two days later and spoke with Don, and calmly explained my frustration with the situation, and received the following snide reply: "Well, I can't be everywhere at once. If you want to have service like that, you're welcome to take your business elsewhere, like Guitar Center." Put simply, I was shocked. I had always been a loyal customer of Don's Music Land and had consistently spoken highly of it to my friends and family. When I went in to pick up my guitar the next day, he curtly told me how much was owed, I paid him, and he didn't even look up or say another word to me. I was very disappointed and will never go back after being treated so disrespectfully. Such a shame...
