I love going to shows here, the bar downstairs is perfect for chillin out, and upstairs is just so perfect for a rock show.. Good Job!

I went here back in February and had a blast. The mixed drinks were quite cheap. I was surprised. The place is nice and small so you get a good vibe with the band. There are some tables scattered around if you don't want to stand the whole time as well. I thought the sound was fantastic. There were a few bands that played and all sounded great. I can't wait to go back.

I have been a loyal fan of The Blissters for a couple years. I eagerly awaited to see them play at the Double Door the other night Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to see that they blew. They sounded like an ugly lump of unlistenable trash made for people with no taste. Did you go temporarily deaf? You guys are nothing more than prefabricated wanna be pop stars with no identity whatsoever.

A lot of the bands that play here aren't that great, and it's hard to get a drink. Usually it's way too loud too. But I have seen a couple good shows here.

This is hands down the best 21+ club in the city. The sound is amazing and the atmosphere is dark, smoky and seedy, just how a rock club should be! The bartenders are all very courteous and fast, and the beer specials are pretty reasonable for a music venue. Plus the basement bar and the photo booth are pretty cool as well.

Pros: Great live sound, cheap drinks, good music of local and national live music acts.

Cons: Hard to find parking, does not serve food

I don't think there's another place like this around Chicago. I go here a lot of the time with friends to catch some of the local bands perform. They Rolling Stones performed a surprise act here once. They bartenders here are great, they make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. I must say that it gets packed on the weekends, if you don't want to get turned around in case that you arrive a bit late, just buy your tickets through ticket master. Most of the time you could buy the there.

This is a very hip concert venue/ bar in the heart of Chicago's latest hipster neighborhood, Bucktown. It is a great place to catch some local music on the weekdays, and their ticket prices are not very steep. There is a great hardrock/metal crowd that hangs out there, and in the basement there are a few pool tables. You can really get up close to the band because it is a small place.

PROS: Intimate setting, good music
CONS: No parking

The sound is top-shelf, the sight lines are great from almost everywhere in the venue. Drinks are a bit pricey, but there are deals to be had now and then. One of the best venues in the city.

Good views everywhere and good sound is consistent. They only need to add some more washrooms(like downstairs) PBR's are the killer deal!!!!!
