Salon Lorrene

I have only used this salon for spa services but if the rest of the services are like these, I should be going there for everything. Although it can be busy (and I usually have to book in advance with my favorites), the staff is always friendly and courteous and do their very best to accommodate my crazy schedule.. I have had facials, waxing, pedicures and massages here. I most frequently see Diana for facials and waxing; she is meticulous, pleasant and knowledgeable - certainly the best experience that I have had with these types of spa services. But, I have had excellent experiences with other spa staff as well. Each service provider makes a concerted effort to fashion my treatments to my individualized needs. The envioronment is soothing and confortable. I always leave this salon in a better mood than when I arrived.

Really love the salon, all the people are friendly and helpful. I have had a few facials and other treatments which were all wonderful, the best I have ever had! Also enjoy the hair care. Great place for gift certificates or even a personal treat!

I have had a few facials, and being I am a guy it is difficult for me to express how wonderful they are. I am very secure in my masculinity, that being said. I have had Diana perform my facials every time, and I come home felling refreshed, and my mother even comments on how nice my skin looks. Men do not be bashful, go see Diana and she will help you with all of your complexion needs. She has told me what to do to help my skin, and I even exfoliate every other night. Diana also got me to stop using such oily soaps and turned me onto the Dermaolgica line. My skin looks great and feels great too. Tell one, tell all, that Diana at Salon Lorrene is the best at her profession. Would recommend again and again. Thanks for taking great care of my great looking skin.

I have been a faithful client of the salon for as long as its opening, 10+ years, and have previously known some of the professionals working there while they were employed elsewhere, before its establishment. They have ushered me through many hairstyles; big, long, short, permed,colored, highlighted, and now, my natural gray. I receive countless compliments from friends and total strangers on my hair! On occasion, I have had facials, manicures and pedicures. I have ALWAYS left thrilled with the results of all their services. They work hard to keep up to date with the latest styles and techniques - they are professional, friendly and really care about us, their clients. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

I went here because I saw it on my way home and guessed it looked good. The facial was terrible, the girl didn't even ask me what I wanted and just kept playing with my skin. And the staff was incredibly RUDE, all they care about is making money and not giving good service in return.

I have followed Lorrene for over 15 years to several salons. Her own salon is truly a spa experience. My color is always perfect and the cut is updated every time to keep my look current and up to date. Friends think I'm crazy for going all the way out to Palatine from the city but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair.

I drive all the way from LaGrange to Palatine to Salon Lorrene because it's the best. I have plenty of other salons to choose from near home (Oak Brook, La Grange and Hinsdale)and work (downtown), but only one has unmatched service, friendly atmosphere, and high quality services. The drive is worth it. I could pay much more and get mediocre services or a lot less and have a bad experience. I have tried lots of places and Salon Lorrene is simply the best. This is not a paid endorsement!

I always feel welcome when I walk into Salon Lorrene. The staff and owner are attentive, helpful and courteous.
It is one stop shopping... Sharon colors and cuts my hair. She is professional, listens to what I want and offers suggestions that are right for me and my hair. Sharon goes out of her way to make sure every visit is a comfortable and satisfying experience. I always leave the salon feeling happy, relaxed and looking great.

I used to switch salons every couple of haircuts and/or color because I could never find anyone who could work with my thick, coarse hair. I started going to Sharon over five years ago and I have never thought about switching since. She colors my hair extremely well but even better, she knows how to work with my hair so I get a great haircut every time. It's a very relaxing environment and everyone goes out of their way to be friendly.

I have struggled with finding a style for my fine hair for years. Since going to Sharon at Salon Lorrene I have been so pleased and am constantly complimented on my hair style and color. Going to the Salon is a pleasant experience the staff is professional and friendly. Sharon always listens to clients ideas but adds great ideas and suggestions and a flair of her own. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Having my hair colored, cut, and styled doesn't seem to be a chore when I have it done at Salon Lorrene. I look forward to conversations with Kim and a relaxing shampoo massage with Julie or Corrine. I walk out feeling good and looking great. I have received countless compliments on my haircut, which is testament to Kim's artistry.

I came from a "high end" well known salon. I had endured the poor service thinking they were the only salon outside of downtown Chicago that was up to date on the very latest styles. I was proven wrong. Salon Lorrene is a breath of fresh air! Professional, cutting edge styles, AND unpretentious. Sharon does both color and cut. I like not being carted around getting chilled waitng my turn for a cut. She schedules enough time to not rush. If you appreciate professional service in a stress free environment, I recommend this salon.

Colleen always does a fantastic job; she knows how to address fine, limp hair. The salon is a bit out of my way, but I fight traffic anyways because I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

This salon is a great place to go because once you walk in the door they treat with a lot of attention and friendliness. They make you feel specail and of course they do a great job with hair. The salon always has an up to date look as well.

I have been going to Salon Lorrene for several years. The staff is courteous, professional and extremely helpful. Sharon is both my stylist and my color specialist and she does a fantastic job! No one can cover the grays better than her! She also spends the time to understand what you want, and offers suggestions as to what will work and look the best for her clients.

Although it is a bit far from home, it is definitely worth the trip! I recommend Salon Lorrene and Sharon to all my friends.

The best thing about this salon is the way you are treated as soon as you walk in the door. They make you feel right at home. They are warm and so friendly. The salon itself has a warm feel to it - not harsh like most other salons. The bottom line is you dont have to be a star to be treated like one at Salon Lorrene.

I was recommended to Salon Lorrene 1 1/2 years ago. Moving to Colorado 6 months ago, there is nothing to compare so I return to Palatine for their great services. The best way to tell are the constant compliments on my cut and color. The staff enjoys each other, communicate well with their clients and know the trends. Last time I also got my eyebrows dyed. After my past scary experiences, my family asked me to stop getting them dyed. The color from Salon Lorrene was perfect! The only thing my family noticed was that I looked prettier. Now that's what I like!

From the moment you walk into Salon Lorrene you realize you are in for a great experience. Any questions or concerns you may have are wiped away by the Receptionists who always have enough time to explain what processes are available and are never too overwhelmed to just find out how your day is going.

The Stylists, Nail Technicians, and Spa Technicians are all top notch. Having frequented some very high end (and pricey) Salons, I can honestly say that I have had better service and results from Salon Lorrene. You are spoiled from the moment you walk in. You are a person, and you are seen as such. From the owner down, they work with you and your ideas, creating a pleasant atmosphere and a wonderful experience.

I consider myself a problem child. A transplanted "California Blonde," I was afraid I would never find someone to do my color in an acceptable manner. That all ended the moment I stepped into Salon Lorrene. When it's done right there is no reason to go elsewhere.

If you want the results of going to a big city Salon, with the personal care and prices of a local Salon, there is simply only one Salon in the Northwest Suburbs to go to. That is Salon Lorrene.

I just wonder when Salon Lorrene will realize that we would all pay premium prices for their services. Their hairdressers are very current. The ambiance is that of an elegant and chic salon without hoity-toity attitude.
I have brought both my mother and my daughter to get haircuts and they were both very happy with the results. Whenever I go there, I see men and women of all ages.

I have been a customer at Salon Lorrene since it opened, and I can honestly say I look forward to each visit. I consistently get a great cut and color just the way I want it. But what really sets the salon apart, in my opinion, is the people who work there. Everyone, from the receptionists, to the stylists, to the shampoo ladies, has a warm and welcoming attitude. I highly recommend this salon - you won't be disappointed!

I have been to many masseuses and physical therapists over the years, and Marinella is simply the best. She has a great knowledge of physiology, great touch and is really a nice person. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great massage.

I have been a client of this salon since it opened. I started with one stylist and when her hours changed so that it was not as convenient for me, another stylist was suggested. I was with that stylist until she moved out of state. When she was leaving, she trained another stylist on how to 'attack' my difficult curly hair. Additionally, she introduced my hair to a colorist who then also cut my hair when my hairdresser had her twins.
Everyone. from the front desk to the owner of the Salon is pleasant, agreeable and professional. I think it speaks volumes that the staff members are long time employees. The shampoo person has been with the shop the entire time the shop is open also. This is a credit to the managment of the shop by its owner!

Just to give a pat on the back to my awesome colorist - Stacy and my amazing stylist - Tania for taking such great care of my challenging hair.

The other great thing about this salon: the staff is punctual. And, they are punctual without having any clocks in the salon! I love knowing that my appointment will be honored in a timely fashion!

"Spoil Yourself" Says it all. The attention to my specific hair and personal preference. From the minute you enter Salon Lorrene with the staffs prefessional technical and interpersonal skills. Received a gift to Pamper Myself for a day, I was treated like a queen but, as you look around this is how everyone in the Salon felt. I walked out and felt like Cinderella. Now I make this habit every week. As a Senior Salon Lorrene makes my days bright.

Went in on a referral from a friend. We are both picky hair girls and have had many stylists over the years. I went in open minded and actually was consulted about what's working, what's not, the new color I wanted, the new cut I wanted. In the end, it's the best color and cut I've had in a long time. the stylist took her time and made sure I was happy and ready to walk out. At other large salons (MT, Asha) they are on such a time crunch (30 mins max) that I feel rushed in and out and no time for really analyzing color / cut / facial shape, etc. Kudos Salon Lorrene -- I'd love to try a massage and pedicure for my birthday!

For over 6 years I've been getting my hair cut and styled at Salon Lorrene. I travel quite a distance to go there. But.............when you find a stylist that knows what to do with your hair, you stick with that stylist, no matter the distance! I can't tell you how many times total strangers approach me and ask me where I get my hair cut, even when my head is hot and sweaty after a workout at the gym! When I tell people that I have my haircut appointments booked for an entire year, they can hardly believe it!

Lorrie, the salon owner, has very high standards, and it shows, not only in the stylists that she employs, but in the warmth, friendliness, and professionalism of the entire salon staff! Give Salon Lorrene a try, and see for yourself!

Salon Lorrene is the "Cheers" of the Salon world. It's a comfortable, warm & welcoming environment; everyone working there *wants* to be there and it shows!

From start to finish, the treatment is warm, friendly and first-class. Everyone takes great pride in their work and the owner is an active participant in the Salon, contributing greatly to it's success.

I live in Venron Hills and drive all the way from my work in Libertyville to Salon Lorrene for the phenomenal service Lori, Aleece and the rest of the team offer me.

As a valued client of the salon's owner even before she opened her own salon, I can say without hesitation that I have always received the highest level of quality services at Salon Lorrene. The owner and staff make it their priority to stay ahead of the curve on the industry's latest techniques and tailor their services to each individual. Attention to detail is second to none. I am a 'client for life,' booking my appointments a year in advance and traveling 85-miles one way for the talented expertise. Beyond any full service salon I have gone to. I love how all the girls get along working together, they are true team players. They are up to date on all the latest trends and the owner makes sure everyone is consistently professional ly trained to do the job thats right for their clientele. Great enviroment and would not have a problem letting any of the girls cut or color my hair. You can book an all day beauty spa day and you will be pampered head to toe. A 5+++++ star rating. I recommend this salon to all my friends and I think their nuts if they don't give the girls to prove their miracles. When I get my hair done I make reservations for my husband to take me out to dinner cause I always have a great hair day when I leave the salon. Leave it to the real professionals! Their the best!

I've been a loyal client of Salon Lorrene since it opened and drive a good distance for the services. Once you find someone who understands your hair and other beauty issues, there's no reason to go anywhere else. The owner, Lorrie, is an expert in color, cuts, perms and styling. All the stylists are up to date on the latest without trying to give you something impractical. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful, the spa area is peaceful. I do get haircuts downtown for convenience but prefer Salon Lorrene for the quality and because I feel like I'm among friends there.
I highly recommend this salon for anyone in the northwest suburbs but I know some customers gladly travel in from out of state.

From the moment I walked in the door, I said to myself this is going to be great. The reception was wonderful, welcoming and very professional. After I was greeted by my stylist, we sat and discussed my needs. The consultation was not only enjoyable, but very informative and the shampoo.it was heavenly. My cut, color and style exceed my expectations. I was so pleased and impressed; I booked my next appointments through 2007. I will be back for all my appointments.
