My favorite dish is the pineapple shrimp while all dishes are great. I was once curious why same dishes were less tasty at other restaurants. My conclusion was that Noodle Garden's sauce was flavored with sophistication. The details of the dishes and the environment consistently delivered an enjoyable experience. I cannot find a comparable Thai restaurant since I moved to San Francisco.

Even though I don't currently live in Evanston, I fondly remember the cold winters and the best cure - hot Thai food! This cozy restuarant usually had ample seating available although it could get crowded during the weekends nights. The service was great - orders taken quickly and the food was served quickly, even if I were part of a large group of people (15+). As for the food - I have sampled nearly all of the items in the menu and believe that you can't go wrong with any of the choices. My personal favorites were the pad thai and the jungle curry. The food is reasonably priced and the portions generous. The only possible downside about Noodle Garden would be the dearth of parking. So if you are in the mood for great Thai food, head on to Noodle Garden - you won't be disappointed!

I ate Thai food everyday for 26 years that I lived in Thailand. When I went to Northwestern University for business school, I was very glad that there is a great Thai restaurant in town. The taste of the food is very close to nice restaurants in Thailand. The price is reasonable. Nice ambience. My favorite dishes are shrimp pineapple curry, beef panang, pad woon sen, spicy beef salad, Mee Krob, and Boat Noodle. The boat noodle at Noodle Garden is better than thoses at any restaurant I went to in Thailand. I used to go there 2-3 times a months with 5-25 friends (both American and Asian), and they all love this place. Now that I graduated and work in California, I went to some good Thai restaurants in Fremont, San Francisco, Salinas, and Monterey, but I found nothing comparable to Noodle Garden. I missed Thai food!

Pros: Excellent Food, Inexpensive, Parking lot nearby
