Great Service

by Breigh H.

I have been going to Apolda kennels for over a year now and my dog simply loves it there! She runs to the door dragging me behind and is very excited to be with such nice people. When I come to pick her up she looks beautiful! Two thumbs up and Great service!

Great Place - Highly Recommended!

by k s.

I have been taking my golden retriever to Apolda Kennels for several years now and have never been happier with his grooming and treatment. I have nothing but praise for the handling he receives there. I receive a dog that has enjoyed his day out and comes home looking well cared for. I have never seen any upset animals there in all of our visits - a true testament to their care.

We will continue to bring our dog there and I encourage everyone to do the same - you will not be disappointed! John is not only very caring to the animals, he is very reasonably priced which is a bonus!

Apolda Kennels is GREAT

by Terry T.

Love them. Professional and caring. My dogs have always looked great after grooming. Never concerning about boarding them. Okay, I love my babies, but Apolda always took care of them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Apolda Kennels is not a good place to take your pet!

by marc p.

Took my dog there for a grooming a few years ago and he jumped off the table with leash around neck causing him to hang momentarily until the groomer came back to him. Broke blood vessels in eye and caused a lot of pain. Groomer didn't apologize and didn't pay vet bill either. Major jerk about it. This place is not good!

Very Satisfied Customer

by marcia w.

Over the last 10 years I have boarded my 3 dogs at Alpolda kennels and am very pleased with their service. My dogs have always come back to me clean and healthy and in good spirits. They were especially careful with my older dog of 16 years who was arthritic and almost blind. My dogs always liked the owners and would come up to them. I will continue to bring my dog to Apolda kennels.

Apolda Kennels is reasonably priced and wonderfully consistent

by Dale C.

I've used this business for years for our yorkshire terrier, Lacey. Lacey is always healthy and happy when we pick her up, and since she's so small and can fit through the enclosure that he keeps all the other dogs in, he has kept her in the main office. Where he says, she is so cute, that she's a distraction to his employees. I highly recommend Apolda Kennels.

Apolda Kennels is the only kennel we trust

by Damon F.

I would highly recommend taking your dog to Apolda Kennels. When ever we go out of town we know we can trust John to take care of our 3 year old Huskie, Skyler. Wether its for just the weekend or as long as 5 days, Skyler is always clean and just as we dropped her off. John is also very easy to get a hold of, friendly, and very reasonably price. He has also went outside his normal hours to meet my schedule. For these reasons, we recommend Apolda Kennels to anyone looking to kennel their dog.

A pleasure to deal with

by James Z.

My uncle referred me to Apolda. He has been boarding with them for 12 years and now I see why. My dog actually gets excited to see John when I drop him off. Great kennel!

Maybe we should vacation here

by Jennifer S.

Wow I think my dogs like John better than me. We have two poodles that we had groomed here for two years. They LOVE coming here. We left for 3 great weeks in Mexico and had to drag the girls out.

Thanks John

Great Place!!!

by Ricke W.

I have been taking my dog CD there for about 10 years. CD was an abused dog that I adopted and he could be very skittish about people. Have never had a problem at Apolda - when we pull in, CD starts getting excited and runs right to the door. If anything negative had ever happened, CD would never have gone in the door.

They Don't Take Good Care of Dogs

by Amy Y.

I, too, took my dogs to Apolda for kenneling many times over a 4 year period. I recently started taking them there for grooming. When I picked them up this last time, on the car ride home, my labradoodle's paws were bleeding all over the back seat! My golden retriever mixed dog was acting very skittish, I went to give her a love and noticed that one of her eyes was totally blood-stained red! I called John to ask him what happened and why I wasn't told of anything. He said she had jumped off the table into the fan and hurt herself. I asked him why he neglected to tell me this and he blew it off. I immediately took my dogs to our vet, and he said that they were "very hard-handed at Apolda" and many of his patients had bad experiences there. That was 6 months ago, and I've never gone back, and told everyone I know NOT to go there.

Many years of good service

by Sherrill C.

We have been taking our dogs to John for over 20 years for grooming and boarding. Every experience, without exception, has been positive for both us and our animals. They come home from their "vacation" happy and all cleaned up. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their services, and according to a recent conversation I had with John they have added many new convenience services.

Not a good place

by Marc P.

Took my cockapoo there for a grooming. The groomer walked away from the table for "a second", my dog tried to jump off and had the leash around him and almost hung himself. His eyes were completely red filled with blood and he wasn't doing well. The groomer said, "it's not my fault he tried to jump off". Groomers are never to step away from the table, this is common knowledge. These people don't know what they're doing!!!
They would not even pay the vet bill!
Terrible place!!!!

stay away

by Anonymous

By far the worst experience I have ever had with boarding my dog. Since using this service I have spoke to friends and family regarding Apolda Kennels and it is a general consensus to stay away. I will never return and I advise all dog owners to reconsider ..stronngglllyyyyy

Great Care at a Good Price

by Mary T.

Over Thanksgiving, we left our dog, Cocoa, at Apolda Kennels for
a two night stay. We also left instructions for Cocoa to be
groomed.

When we picked up Cocoa, he was ready on time and he was BEAUTIFUL!

We were also pleased that we could pay a little extra($5/15 min) and have our dog walked on Thanksgiving day.

Great place for great care

by Michael A.

Three years ago, I began taking my pet poodle Schnazzy there. I can always count on this place to give Schnazzy a nice, clean place to stay. We pick him up and hes had a great haircut and has a bow on his collar. Plus, we can bring our food from home, which is something I worry about so Im glad were given the option.

Great!

by cecily s.

I have boarded two dogs at Apolda Kennels for the last 10 years and I have never been disappointed with the results. Thundarr (who was an older dog) stayed at Johns facility for several months while we lived in Chicago looking for a house in the suburbs and now our 6 year old black lab has a home away from home also.

Excellent facility!!!
