This is what they mean by authentic! Everything to the decor to the menu screams old school-and we loved it! We started with a caesar salad (excellent!) and a martini. They didn't offer anything fancy as far as martinis go these days. Just a dirty and a cosmo- and both were good. After that we switched to the house montepulciano and that was also delicious. For entrees we had salmon and halibut with sides of cappelini and gnocchi. Loved them both! This restaurant serves awesome food, it's very dark and cozy, and the owner is there awaiting your arrival ready to seat you at your table. We will definitely be going back!

Pros: Great food, easy parking, good service
We visited Del Rio during December. Not only do they have terrific Italian cuisine, but in December they have entertainment. A delightful quintet, accompanied by a piano, sings for you and leads you in Christmas songs after you finish you dinner. The Italian menu was not extravagant, but had many choices. The food was prepared well and served hot. A wide variety of wines are available. Dinner reservations are a must for December, and need to be made in November. Two dinner seatings are served. There is a cover charge.
