4 Stars: A good place to eat (by Dena L.)

La Humita offers a friendly environment in which to eat a good meal. They only offer one vegetarian option, though, and it is just a meat dish without the meat. The owner is very nice, and the humitas are tasty.

4 Stars: Friendly and filling (by Michael N.)

La Humita is an Ecuadorian restaurant in my neighborhood. I have only been seated and served by the owner who is very nice and obviously has a lot of pride in his restaurant as well as the cuisine of his homeland. All of the entrees are very reasonably priced. One thing is that they do not really have many options for vegetarians although they have always cooked something special for my wife. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have never had food from Ecuador or if you are on a budget. The naranja cheesecake is a must if it is on the menu for the day and many of their fruit drinks are also delicious.
