3 Stars: OK (by Bianca V.)

Had breakfast on a weekday so it was not as full as on weekends. I had french toast and they were were good and inexpensive! The service was very fast and the staff was friendly.

1 Stars: Ghetto (by lisa j.)

This is a family owned cafeteria. During my first visit, I asked one of the chef 's (**possibly an owner** --he is always there in the morning, accent, 5'11, medium build, 55 years old with a dark heavy thick mustache) if they had a restroom. His response to me was, "Don't be asking me no stupid Sh**, you know were the bathroom is."

I was not shocked by this guys response. This place is ghetto.

I seldom visit Valois. I like their "Everything Omelet", but the ghetto vibe coupled with pools of standing water, and rat droppings in the bathroom is too much for me to handle.

Pros: Food Okay
Cons: Ghetto

This place reminds me of Walmart.

3 Stars: okay (by linda B.)

This is another breakfast place that you can't really complain about because it is so inexpensive but I don't really think the food is that great. I actually think that I could make just as good a breakfast at home, which is not a good sign because I don't really cook.

5 Stars: See Your Food From the Grill To Your Plate (by Obasi K.)

The historic Valois has maintained a standard of excellence for decades. Located easily on Chicago's South Side, it boasts a full menu of very tasty food and a very distinct Greek personality. With friendly cooks and wait people, Valois is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast is award winning and generally has a weekend line that snakes its way out onto 53rd street; a testament to its appeal

PROS: Excellent Breakfast, Friendly Upgrades, Wonderful Environment
CONS: Can Get Really Crowded Very Fast
