One of Bloominton/Normal's best kept secret's when it comes to Italian food! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Well worth traveling "off-the-beaten-path" for.

This is a hidden treasure of Bloomington Normal. Be sure to call for reservations because it fills up fast. An old house rennovated. The salads are a little disappointing but the rest of the meal makes up for it!

Beningos is a great place to get authentic, home cooked Italian food. It is kind of hard to find, since it is located in a mostly residential area. Unless, you want to wait, be sure to avoid coming during peak dining times, since the dining are is pretty small. The waitstaff is very courteous and the chef was accomodating. I asked about a particular item and although it was not on the menu, they made it for me anyway! The prices are reasonable and are, on average, less than what you would pay at a Italian Retaurant chain.

Super place for Italian

Been open in the same location forever. That tells you alot. I like the lasagna; my wife always gets the chicken parmesan, my daughter prefrs their pizza bread or a bowl of soup.
Pros: great food, great staff
Cons: off the beaten path
