My husband and mom have 2 pieces and I have 3 pieces all done by Jessica Weichers at Tattoo City. You know why? Because Jessica is THAT good at what she does. I'd never hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Hell, I sent my 60-year-old mom

I have had two tattoos at this location, both done by Jessica. I could not be happier with both. She is the consummate artist. Her work is beautiful and precise. She also has a very gentle touch and concern about her client. I have not had the pleasure of a tattoo from Larry, but his work is also beautiful. Our family will go nowhere else for tattoos.

I've been getting tattoos for 20 years. I've been to different artists throughout the years. 4 years ago I saw a tattoo on someone and asked where they got it because it was awesome. They said from Jessica at Tattoo City in Lockport, IL. I made my appointment and was getting a big piece done. A half sleeve. The tattoo was of a red devil cat and a blue angel cat. Now many people know that are in the business that red is a hard color to make look good for some skin types. This cat is my whole upper arm and the red is the most vibrant beautiful red color. I get so many compliments on this tattoo. It looks brand new and it's 4 years old. I continued to go to her because she did such a good job and I've gotten 8 more tattoos from her and will get more. She is professional, easy to talk to and an excellent artist. There were no problems dealing with her ever. I would refer and have referred people to her. Thanks Jessica! Can't wait for my next one.

This is to reply to the one above about the bleeding and hurting touch up. This kind of complaint is all too familiar, especially with the internet and people not wanting to say things to your face directly. I, the artist, do remember this piece and touching it up. I had no problem with it at all. I thought both sessions went well, other than the pain factor.... but as was said... everything went fine. We offer free touch ups for clients for the first 6 months of having the piece. So we're use to people having to come in for a quick touch up at the shop.... all of us. A lot of the time when people come in quickly after a piece has healed and they need a touch up... it can and usually does bleed a bit more and can also hurt more. The skin has memory and it is a healing organ that was damaged not too soon before. There are also other factors that can affect how things would feel.... have you eaten, are you hung over, did you sleep well, are you close to or on your period? All of those can greatly affect how a needle going into your body could feel. Anyone who knows me as a person would know that I hate when I work on people and it hurts. I'd rather not put someone through a lot of pain but unfortunately it's part of my job. You do have to earn your tattoos. It is part if it but the part about hurting someone on purpose is just not my nature, sorry. Plus if I was to hurt you on purpose it would greatly affect the healing of the tattoo and I would not want to mess up the healing of the piece. Who wants to come in for more touch ups than they have to right?! So that comment is just unnecessary and made because you're mad. I'm sorry you're angry it hurt and bleed more but you did get a tattoo... I poked you thousands of times with a needle.. you are going to bleed and it is going to hurt. I don't wish any discomfort on any of my clients but I can not help all of your pain. I am glad you came in to have it touched up and I do hope that it healed better for you.

I got a tattoo from Jessica who works at Tattoo City in Lockport, The two hour session went very well I had almost no bleeding at all and little discomfort. The tattoo healed great. I went back for a touch up and that's when things went wrong. She must have gotten offended by something I said not sure, but the fifteen minute session was so painful, I cant describe how painful it was. She stuck the needle in as far as she could go. I had so much blood on my bandage when I took it off I was shocked. This was done on purpose. The diffidence between the tattoo and the touch up is like night and day as far as the pain went. The more I thing about what she did it pisses me off even more. She might be good not great at what she does but her attitude is very unprofessional.

I have three tattos which two of them I received from Tattoo City. I can tell you there is a huge difference between them and my other tattos from another place. The owner works on site daily. Larry, the owner, has many awards for his work. They do tattos and piercings, although I don't have the piercings. This is the place I would go for my next tat.
