I don't know about the review before me, must have been bad luck or something. I have had nothing but good things to say about this store. My wife and I have purchased furniture from them a few times. Every time i go in i received very friendly and educated service, even their stock workers know what they are talking about, which is a far cry from trying to talk to the employees of a corporate giant. One of the appeals to me is that this is truly a family owned and operated store, having a heritage in Naperville that dates back over a hundred years. Their showrooms, and equipment may be a little out dated, but their service staff and selection are top-notch.The last purchase i made with them was in the spring of 2008, i bought a couch and loveseat. They told me 6-8 weeks, which i was a little surprised because it was kind of a custom seat. It came in at around 7 weeks, their stock manager called me the day that they received the furniture and said he would call back later that day to let me know if it passed his "seal of approval" for delivery. thankfully it did, and he scheduled the delivery instantly, I couldn't take it during their business hours, since i work fulltime, he said it wouldn't be a problem they could deliver it on saturday. I asked him if he was sure that was going to be ok, since i had plans i didn't want to break for a "no show". He ensured me that if would be fine, since he was the one that was going to deliver it.It is experiences like this that always confirm my love of small business. I heard everything from "the horses mouth", there was no call center, or scheduling service, their worker. . . in his case, self proclaimed, "work horse," checked the furniture, assembled what he had to, delivered the furniture, assured that my wife and I were happy with its placement in our house and happy with our choice, even took a look at our kitchen table that was wobbly, tightened a bolt and it was fixed, tipped his hat and said good day.YOU DO NOT GET SERVICE LIKE THAT FROM A CORPORATE STORE.

The 2nd star is because they somehow managed to get our order correct. They get 1 star for customer service, and would give them less if I could. Here??s what happened:
- Ordered a chair 12 weeks ago. Salesperson said it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery and that we would be called at every step to keep us informed.
- 7 weeks into the order (without a call), we called for status. A woman checked and said ??Well, it??s been ordered!? I laughed and said, ??I should hope so; we ordered it 7 weeks ago!? I explained that we were told the order would take 6-8 weeks and she said that, no, orders generally take 10-12 weeks. I asked her to check on the status of the order and call me back. No call.
- 11 weeks into the order we went there to check on the order. No salespeople were there, but a woman took our information and said the salesperson would be back in a couple of hours and would call us back. No call.
- A couple of days later, we called again. This time, we get a call back that the chair is almost ready and will call for delivery.
- About a week later, we get a call that the chair can be delivered that day. The driver will call with a time so that we can leave work to be there in time. The driver calls to say he can??t make the delivery due to weather (it wasn??t raining in our world). The driver also said the ??dispatcher? will call us within the hour to reschedule. No call.
- The next morning, we call the store to schedule delivery and told they can schedule delivery for next Friday. I was off on Monday and requested delivery for any time that day. That was fine and was told we would get a call Monday morning with a window of delivery time. No call.
- We called again Monday afternoon and told that delivery can??t be made that day because the driver has school that night. And she didn??t know that when she agreed to Monday and I sat around all day waiting???
- After all this, we decided to borrow a van and pick up the chair ourselves the next evening. When we got there, the same woman we??d been talking to on the phone was there. We said who we were and was there to pick up the chair and she said, ??We??d have delivered it eventually.?
- We got our $49 delivery charge back and looked at the signature. The person who had given us such poor customer service and didn??t have a care in the world with that ??eventually? remark and previous negligence was none other than the store owner, Lana Heitmanek! We won??t be ordering furniture from them again.

It's nearly impossible to miss this furniture store while visiting downtown Naperville. It's smack-dab in the middle of town and has a huge lighted sign. The furniture items are of great quality and are really well-made, timeless pieces. Prices are a bit high, but you should shop here for quality, not bargains. If you want cheap, go elsewhere.

You can find some really good old fashioned furniture at this shop located in downtown Naperville. the furniture here is really different from that available in the usual furniture shops. They have some pretty antiques. Slightly pricey but the pieces here are really uniques and add a nice touch to the rooms

What a great place to find really cute old fashioned furniture! WIth it being nearly impossible to find real wood furniture at furniture stores these days (think Harlen, ValueCity etc.) this place is a gem. We've found a wonderful armoir there and we also found an old fashioned roll-top desk. Great downtown location too.
