Terrible service. They didn't call to approve a price (which was $300 over what they quoted) and the staff was rude. I'm never going to use them again.

I went there a few years ago. They took over a month to finish my car and I discovered that this place had put me in harm's danger. They used TWIST TIES (I have pics) to "secure" important parts. They said they used newer parts, but I

Recently had the misfortune of doing business with this company when they performed a police tow for Orland Park Police. Tow was at 7:30 PM on 12/30. Place was already closed, so we couldn't claim the car that night. Then, Auto Medics was closed 12/31 and 1/1 for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We were charged for all 3 days, even though we couldn't pick up the car ONLY because they chose to be closed. If the company tows 24 hours for the police, then they should be open to claim the vehicle 24 hours. Not this joint: regular business hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday. Hope you don't need to get your vehicle on Saturday, because this place is only open 10 AM - 12 noon. What's the point of opening at all???

Also, after waiting more than 12 minutes, the person who waited on us (an older, heavy-set man who may have been the owner!!??) was so rude. Never once said "please" or "thank you". No customer service skills at all. We were charged $30 - one day storage fee - more than the police department told us. When I questioned the total, he was defensive and repeated the amount, stating that if we didn't pay, we didn't get the car.

Finally, when we went to get the car out of the lot, it was covered in 6" of snow, all four doors left unlocked, AND the interior of the car had been ransacked... personal property strewn all about. I would never voluntarily do business with this company.

Side note: The gentlemen on line ahead of us was there to retrieve personal property from a vehicle that had been towed following a car accident. He asked for his keys, which had been towed with the vehicle. The same man told him that the car was open. The irritated customer explained that he needed his keyring... they could keep the key to the car, but he needed all the other keys back. The employee told the customer he would have to wait WHILE HE LOCATED THE KEYS. He didn't know where they were!

Rude service. Exhorbitant fees. Inconvenient hours. Terrible!
