Sparks Tune-Up

I called Spark's Tune Up to ask how much they would charge for a general Tune up.
I spoke with someone named "Dan". Very, very rude person!!! Horrible customer service and he was very pushy and arrogant!!!!!! I told him that I needed a tune-up for my car (gave him make, model etc. and EXACTLY which parts I needed as I do have knowledge about cars).
He gave me a price of $575 !!!
I said "thank you, but that is totally out of line, and I hung up."
I then called my friend who is a mechanic (but in a different state) and he told me that the parts alone should come to a maximum of $75 plus about $100 for labor. I called some other places and their price was in the $175 range- just as my mechanic friend told me!!

SPARK'S TUNE-UP is nothing but a RIP-OFF !! Extremely rude customer service and ridiculously OUTRAGEOUS prices!!!! Wouldn't be surprised if they were to go out of business soon if they continue running their "business" in such a poor manner.
Trust me - save yourself some time and energy -
DON'T GO TO SPARK'S TUNE-UP !!

Sparks was recommended to me over 10 years ago and I have found Mark to be up front, honest and competitive. I've recently had a tune up and brake work and the car left running well.

Horrible experience. I was overcharged for work I didnt need. When I took the car to another mechanic, I was told the job was done incorrectly. Rude owner and unexperienced.

My family has been going there for over five years and we have had nothing but the best of service. He'll tell you what needs to be fixed that moment and what can wait if you can't afford it all at once. The owner is a very friendly person and very understanding.

If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, I would not recommend this business. My vehicle was returned with more problems than it came in with.

I have used this service for more than 15 years. My family has used it for even longer. We have always received excellent service, timely repairs, and an honest assessment of what was needed. I would recomend them to anyone.

The people who work here can not be trusted. They ripped me off. They told me I needed all new front brakes on my car. I had a whole mew front brakes system put on. Then they came up with a few other things, including all new rear brakes. I took it somewhere else and found out I only needed my rear brakes ajusted. I still had 60% of my brakes left. I have never been back since.
