My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the past years. Tonight we stopped in to partake of our favorite roast pork dinner! we started with the beef noodle soup which had no taste and resemled warm water and noodles. The pork was dry and only two slices. The gravy tasted as if it had been made with rancid grease.
Even th pastry tasted of this foul grease. I shall never ever go there again

Our son recently married a girl in the Philippines, and we wanted a family style meal for family and friends who were not able to travel to the wedding. We had eaten at Baohemian Gardens in the past and were always satisfied, but the negative review was a concern. I worried needlessly. I heard many positive comments from our 54 guests. There was a wide assortment of tasty food; even a pasta and veggie dish for any vegetarians. In addition to the three meats, we were served dumplings, sauerkraut, sweet-sour cabbage, mashed potatoes and vegtables, There was the choice of liver dumpling soup or chicken noodle soup and rye bread and butter. There was plenty of food for everyone. The kolachky were light and flaky so most of us were able to find room for one or two. We brought a cake in and could have had their staff cut and serve the cake at no additional cost. (Another restaurant charges $15.00 to cut and serve the cake.) The meal was served in a private room that had a fireplace and a china cabinet on either side of the fireplace. We had a homey atmosphere, yet plenty of space. The service was excellant and efficient, but we were free to linger and socialize. We weren't seeking elegance, just good food in a comfortable setting and we certainly got that! I
(I do remember the time our family was celebrating a birthday and it turned out that the chef was off and it was a disaster. Two of our children were working in restaurants at the time and they were upset with all the problems, but they did compensate by reducing our bill.)

Good selection of hearty Bohemian offerings. Pork and dumplings worked well for me. Seems to be some German-type items in there as well, too. Servings are good-sized, our service was OK. (Attention bus boys - please don't hover.) I thought the prices were a bit high, though.

Very good food here. Nice people, the only downside is some of the booths are a bit older so you seem to sink when sitting in them. I would recommend a table especially for someone who has trouble getting up. Very good food!

This restaurant is the best place to eat if you are looking for old world type food. The smells and tastes overwhelm your senses and can bring back memories of your childhood, when grandmas cooking permeated the kitchen. I would recommend
