White Castle

Okay, so I didn't see the movie White Castle. But, I have heard quite a few accounts of people who would live and die by a White Castle burger. I've never really travelled outside of California or the West Coast until last month when I was in Chicago visiting friends / on vacation. People from areas where they grew up with White Castle said it should be on the list, so I dutifully dropped in. Okay, let me first say that the burgers are palm sized. Little tiny appetizer burgers. They sell them in 3's or 6 packs. You can get, like, 12 at once and it's okay. It's on the menu, so that makes it okay to eat 12 of these greasy little burgers. They were pretty good and I didn't have any of the typical side effects that go with greasy food, so I am glad I ate them after feeling how soft and mushy they were. The fries weren't all that great, but I would recomment that if you're in an area of the United States that they have a White Castle, take a risk and try one. They aren't all that bad for fast food.

CONS: greasy
