I went for a facial at Skin Dimensions Boutique, and what an amazing experience! My skin felt amazing afterwards, and I was completely relaxed. The rooms are beautiful, and there are a lot of skin care options there to chose from for my very dry skin. I would highly recommend!

I received a manicure by Nicole and she does such a wonderful job. She is fast but yet thorough and does an excellent job with nail painting. I am never disappointed. Carrie did my pedicure and she also did an outstanding job. I will return to both. I have never been so pleased with a service. Great JOB!!!

What can I say. Totally professional and totally wonderful! If you are getting a glycolic facial ask for Pat. She's awesome and I ask for her every time. Skin Dimensions is quiet, relaxing, and the staff is always top-notch. I LOVE the music. They're the only spa in Peoria with marble floors and all the details you'd expect from a high-end spa. They always give you coffee and little chocolates. Not too shabby for 'ol Peoria.

Skin Dimensions Day Spa is AWESOME. They perform every spa service imaginable are by far the most classy day spa in Central Illinois. If you are in town for a convention I recommend the half-day of beauty. You get a glycolic facial, makeup, manicure, pedicure, and 30 minute massage from a liscensed massage therapist. Full Day of Beauty is the best if you have the time and it includes lunch. Super friendly staff and I've been going there since 1998. The makeup application is Bare Escentuals which is the top of the top. Book in advance because they are very popular!

Skin Dimensions Salon and Day Spa should be ashamed of how it portrays the professionalism of the massage industry. A radio ad aired during the early part of the holiday season in 2004, that was quite degrading to the image of the massage therapist.

There ad named several of the services offered and made suggestions on for who these gifts might be appropriate. However, at the end, a women's flirty, smooth, sexually suggestive voice giggles " 'Don't forget a massage for Santa' ' HO,HO, HOOOH' " Santa disgustingly replies.

Massage Therapy has been shown in several studies to lower blood pressure, increase circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids, reduce painful nerve firing, relax tense muscles, reduce stress, and studies are beginning to document that massage can decrease blood glucose levels, a huge benefit for the diabetes epidemic going on in the US.

Massage Therapy students undergo extensive study in muscles and bony landmarks, for their location and to enhance their knowledge of how the body moves. They are also educated in anatomy, physiology, ethics, business, and massage techniques.

Massage Therapists are not offering some sexual rub down for Santa; We are offering a valuble health care service for our communities.

Although businesses need to make money, it is not right to degrade a profession to do so.

The same ad aired in the 2005 holiday season, but the "Ho, Ho, Hooh," was toned down a few notches. However, the ad is still offensive and I will never support a business that allows such ads. I ask you to do the same.

I was not happy with the service I received. I felt I did not get what I had asked for. I took in pictures of my preferences, nuetral makeup very natural. I felt when they were finished I looked like a clown. purple and pink colors. Nice but not for me or what I had asked for.

I chose Skin Dimensions to do my makeup for my wedding. I did a trial a few days before the wedding, and was horribly disappointed. I brought a picture of what I would like and the makeup artist wouldn't even bother to look at it. I did like the products they used, but was so unhappy with the job they did, I didn't show up for my appointment on my wedding day and just did my makeup myself. They make sure you pay for BOTH appointments during your consultaion, however, so I couldn't get any of my money back. Very disappointed!!!

PROS: the products they used
CONS: the service, the staff, the price...
