I always have a plesent experience each & every time I go to Millie's. I've always had great service & the food has always been to my satisfaction!
I love the cute little gift shop next door ( sure some stuff is overpriced, but cute non the less!)

This place has gone downhill in the past 10 or so years. Millie died a while back and it's just not been the same. I have been going to Millie's since I was little and always had a good experience. Now it's a cramped, dirty little place with a junky, overpriced gift shop. The food is awful and not as descibed. They say the crepes come with fresh strawberries which are obviously frozen, etc. The pancakes are nothing special. It seems as though they are just trying to get people in and out quickly. Yes its hectic on a Sunday morning but it's just not worth the wait anymore. Cracker Barrell is a much nicer alternative!

PROS: Local

We did not enjoy this restaurant. The service was very poor and slow. The food itself was ok but nothing spectacular. I would not go again. Would be easier to just up the road at another breakfast spot.

I won't say I hated this restaurant, but my experience wasn't really up there, either. Here's the deal: the hostess didn't seat us, she kinda handed us our menus (from the table where she and a friend were eating breakfast) and grunted in the general direction of the dining area. We weren't part of their regular customer base, and we were made to feel like outsiders. Anyone else coming in got the whole "How are the kids doing?" or "It's so good to see you!" bit, but they might as well have told us to "sit your butts down, we'll get to you when we can..."

So anyway, the food was okay. Not something to write home about, but not poisonous, either. Unfortunately, they found a way to screw up on the hash browns. And I love hash browns. You have to really ruin them for me to not like them. It was like someone poured sugar all over them or something, and drowning them in ketchup didn't make them any better... The rest of our food was okay. It was very expensive for the portion size... And the deal breaker for my husband was that you can't order pancakes instead of toast. That doesn't bother me, but he always wonders why some pancake places (as in they have the word "pancake" in the name of the restaurant) make it so difficult to order their pancakes.

Bottom line: keep going up the road to the IHOP; you'll be better off.
