I purchased a front door with 2 side panels from Adam Carper of Twins Home Improvements that was manufactured by Armstrong Door in August of 2009. The door was not installed until June of 2010. In January of 2012 I noticed the finish bubbling on one of the side panels. Adam came out took pictures of the damage and was told that the product was defective and would be replaced. In May I started calling because I didn't hear anything. Adam refused to return my calls so I spoke to Glenn at Armstrong Door. He told me to remove the panel and bring it in and they would take care of it. Called back on Monday, spoke to Debbie, she told me Glenn was fired and that this would be taken care of. They stopped answering my calls, and I didn't speak to anybody until I used a friends phone to call. They answered. Spoke to Eric and he set up an appointment for May 31st. Well, they didn't show up, and now they're claiming they are out of business. That is also not true. My suggestion to anyone out there considering purchasing a product from this company is to look elsewhere. Their product is defective and they do not stand by their warranty. I am currently seeking the assistance from an attorney to get them to honor their warranty or replace the panels.

My wife and I had a 3000.00 Armstrong Door system put in by one of their so called dealers last year. We have had nothing but problems with the product and company.
The sidelights were not properly put together so they leaked air and caused icing on the inside last winter, the paint around the handles began chipping and it had to be repainted- we finally got the door back and the color is mismatched ( 3 shades too dark) and the door is warped. i had the salesman out 3 weeks ago and we are waiting for a response. We are considering pulling the whole system out and putting in a new one.
