Today was the 5th or 6th time this year I've eaten there. The place looks like a dump, but the food has always been exceptionally tasty. Today we had lunch specials. The curry beef, ( which is half way down on the right side of the menu) for $4.95 was GREAT. It came with perfectly cooked baby bok choy, and was not a skimpy lunch portion, but actually filling. I had salt and pepper scallops, which I have never had before. It came with rice, onions, green onions , but with no sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly, and was ample. I've had the won ton soup, clams with black bean sauce, and a number of other dishes and have never been dissappointed. The service is rather unfreindly, but who cares.Don't confuse this with BIG Three Happines accros the street, ( which is good for dim sum) This is a little restaruant on the south side of Cermak.

I unfortunately eat out 4-5 times per week. This was by far the worst service I've ever had! Even when talking to the manager about the sauce the waiter spilled all over my jacket was beyond ridiculous. She was completely unwilling to apologize! DO NOT EAT HERE!

The food served here was quite impressive. There is a lunch menu with items at $3.95. I ordered the Beef Fried Rice (Hong Kong style) that was big enough for three people! I also ordered the Deep Fried Shrimp Ball from the dim sum menu for $1.70. At that price I expected to get one ball; it came with three large ones. The servers were very courteous not too pushy as some other Chinatown restaurant workers often get. My lunch date and I shared one rice plate and one dim sum item and our server didn't try to get more orders out of us. Excellent dining experience if you don't mind the hole-in-the-wall feel...which I find much more charming than a nicer she she restaurant.

Went here on a calm Sunday morning. We ordered 6 items and couldn't even finish them because it was so much. All of the selections were well-made and very tasty. But, the best part came with the bill. All of it (and we had a rather large bag of leftovers) was less than $12. I will be back!
