I'm sad to see what PGN has become. Back in the mid-90's, it was hopping on summer nights and weekends. Anybody who remembers driving down 95th St. those days, vividly can recall the cascading waterfalls of the mini golf course amongst the rock and vegetation setting. Haunted Trails(another familiar locale of fellow Southwestsiders) was the only other mini golf/arcade competition and had become stale and overcrowded. PGN was the new gold standard, complete with a decent arcade and double decker driving range.

Somewhere over the course of the last 10 years, management just stopped caring. The clever, attractive dual mini golf courses, which actually required some strategy and skill, now feature artificial turf that is worn or completely missing in some areas. That signature water feature is never used anymore and the ponds are either barren or filled with filthy water. The individual hole signs are badly faded and scribbled with grafitti.

Inside, things aren't much better. Most of the arcade games are over a decade old and many seem out of service. When I went a few years ago to the driving range, I actually had to look for a good 5 minutes to not only find a mat that still had a rubber tee, but one that was in decent enough shape to use.

For the sake of the fond memories I have of this place with family and friends (and a few dates), I hope it either is closed or somebody who cares takes over.

PGN used to be a really fun place to go and mini golf but it no longer is kept up with. The course is falling apart, all the ponds are empty and look gross, and the holes are falling apart. It wasn't as much fun because the course should have been closed.
