I love Vas Foremost Liquor like I love Tony's Finer Foods...it's got a kind of crappy charm to it that makes me feel at home. What can I say about Vas Foremost? Everyone who works there is nice, plus there's tons of liquor in there, it's ALL more or less reasonably priced, and they always have a few sales...what more could you want?!
A very, very good (not extraordinary) variety of beers and wines (Including my favorite champagne, Delamotte, nice one VF!)? Done!
$3 pocket-sized bottle of brandy? Done!
At least 4 flavors of Boone's Farm at all times? Done!
Wine tastings conducted in French accent? Done! (Seriously! They're pretty cool, and not just because they're so amusingly incongruous.)
...Oh, wait, you want microbrewed specialty beer? Consider your crushing disappointment the just deserts of developing maladaptive affectations. For everyone else, get your liquor on!
edited to add: F*ck what you heard, maladaptors! As it turns out, VF Liquor also carries specialty beer. Sorry, when I wrote this originally I must have been on the wrong end of a $2.70 six pack of PBR.
