Their reputation and good days seem gone long time ago. Try to find somewhere else....................................................................

Highly Not Recommended
by John H.
I took my car to Rick's Automotive based on the overwhelmingly positive and glowing reviews here (granted there were only three, but still ...).
My experience, unfortunately, was horrible. I found the garage to be unprofessional, unreliable, and shockingly expensive. Expensive I could have overlooked if the service had been great, but it was terrible.
I strongly recommend against using this place, especially if you are new to the area.

Reliable Consistent Service
by Tom B.
I've taken my Ford Escort with 150,000+ miles to Rick's a half dozen times now with some tricky problems. He's easy to work with, keeps an eye out for other problems, but doesn't try to hard sell anything that isn't absoletely needed. I'v been happy with his prices. Don't let all the Mercedes Benzes, Porches, and Audi's in the lot fool you, he's happy to work with the Escort owners as well! My wife has also taken her Saturn to him with great results.

It is not the most expensive one comparing with the other local car repairing stores. Not long ago, when the car seemed having a leak we called in for an appointment, they were in a busy season and kept us wait for about a week to start. But they were really fast and found out where the leak was immediately. Then fixed it within a day. We were afraid if the leaking liquid could have any bad impact on the other parts of the car, and were checking it up everytime we drove the car. It turns out they did fix it and nothing else was going wrong as they said.

Rick's prices are a bit over "average" for this community, but you get what you pay for. You'll also get an honest assessment of the work your car really needs, with no sales pitches for extra maintenance services. Rick and his mechanics do a lot of specialty work on foreign cars, but are just as good with all domestic models.
