We have two American Bulldogs that are currently doing a ton of agility training at Happy Tails. The dogs as well as us are having a blast and they have excelled in agility so quickly. The agility instructor, Karie, is absolutely incredible to work with. We love her and our dogs love her. Karie provides great instruction that makes learning a breeze along with a very loose, fun and pleasurable environment. It is obvious that she truly cares about our knuckleheads and enjoys working with them. Her agility competition accomplishments speak for themselves. I could not recommend Karie's agility classes enough! Awesome!

We love Happy Tail's! We have a boxer that we purchased at Happy Tail's.The Bieri family not only show their boxers in obedience and agility events but they also resuce! I know Amy's boxers are not only beautiful to look at but they are very sweet. She has taken them into nursing homes and worked with hospice patients, her boxers are tested for therapy work. I personally think these bad reviews maybe written by her competitors, haha! ;-) Thank you Amy, we love our Janie girl!

I have looked over these reviews and feel I have to respond. I have been going to Happy Tails for 5 years, with 3 dogs. I do not regret any money or time that I and my boys have spent there. Amy, Todd and their employees are kind and caring. All 3 of them started off with the basic obedience classes. Two of them are still doing rally and one is doing agility. I fell back in Sept. and am not able to run agility for awhile. The trainer has been kind enough to do it for me, so he can continue his happy times at Happy Tails:) Two of them have also competed in AKC competitons! We have a 13 year old neighbor who just adores the dogs and have been taking her to train with my youngest dog, they have helped her in so many positive ways. She has gone on with him in rally in 2 competitions and has one 2nd and 3rd place and is working on her third leg with the help of Amy and the other trainers. I recommend this place to everyone it has a wonderful staff who really takes the time to work with the owners and dogs and are considerate of the owners also:) We love this place and will continue to love and go to this place for many years:)

After looking over these reviews I am disappointed by what some of these people wrote! First of all how can you judge a class if you only attend it once? I have taken my dogs through several classes at Happy Tail's' Ranch throughout the time period of 4 years. I would never train anywhere else! I have had different instructors for different classes I have attended and enjoying all of them. (Amy is my fav teacher). I have also boarded all of my dogs there with wonderful expirences. My dogs always come home in perfect condition and smelling great!

I think when employee's leave a place they worked at for several years and still return for classes and boarding that says something about that buisness. Amy and Todd have a wonderful staff, these people have worked for them for many years, some of them thru high school and back from college. Happy Tail's doesn't have constant turn over of staff. It is nice to go in and see familiar faces who know our dogs by name!

I was considering boarding my dogs at Happy Tails and so I stopped by to visit. I asked to see the kennels and the woman at the front desk said she would not let me see the boarding facilities. She told me to come back Saturday. I have never been refused a brief visit to a kennel prior to boarding. She said, "It's not because we have something to hide. You can come back Saturday." It was a very unpleasant experience and I will not be boarding my four dogs at Happy Tails.

Was not happy with instructor for an intermediate class that used negative reinforcement vs. positive training techniques. Did not finish the class because of it.

We have a timid two year old mastiff which we took to Happy tails for some socializing and obedience training. In the one hour session we spent there, all there trainers did was yank, pull, knee, and hit him with empty milk jugs. I don't believe you have to beat dogs into submission in order for them to stay in line, and have them listen to you. All Happy Tails succeeded in doing is making my dog even more afraid of strangers and public places then he was before. I will never go back, and don't advise anyone else to go either. We only went once, and once was one time to many.

Our dog (a Labrador) is almost 5 and our vet recommended Happy Tails for training when he was a pup. My husband, son, and I all learned how to train an obedient dog and we are grateful to have found Happy Tails. We always recommend them for training and boarding. In fact, our dog will be staying with them again next week for 10 days. Nice relaxing vacation- knowing your dog is well cared for and happy to be there.

This is a very clean facility and the owners are down to earth people and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I adopted a puppy mill Labrador, who was severely abused right from birth. Sam really is a great dog ,but has major behavioral problems . He lacks self confidence big time and was extremely aggressive. Had i not adopted him I'm sure he wouldn't be on this earth. I took him to obedience class which helped me to learn how to help Sam and then took a few sessions of private instruction with Amy the owner. She knows what she is doing. I have also been taking him to their doggy daycare for socialization, which has been a tremendous help to Sam. Slowly but surely we are breaking down the walls that Sam hides behind. He is a different dog now, and i couldn't have done it without the help from Happy Tails and their dedication to helping animals owners be responsible pet owners. In response to one of the other posts where they said the class was out of control. The first day of class may be a little large, but that's to see how many people who call to take the class actually show up. Then they divide the class into smaller groups and have a certain class at a specified time, so the class is not the way your view of it is. You gave maybe one hour of your time to make this assumption. Its too bad you didn't give the class a chance It really is a great place to learn how to have a happy and healthy fur baby.

I took one of my dogs here for the beginners obedience class and only completed half the class. The class was way over booked with only one trainer who could not control the class and was very disorganized. A young girl who did help at times I recognized as a neighbor that had a dog that was let to run loose in the neighborhood, was left outside in the rain and snow and was full of matts and looked severely neglected and I know animal control had been out there numerous times. Let just say that left a sour feeling in my stomach and I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never set foot there again.

Amy & Todd Bieri are truly dedicated to their business. Buddy has been kennelled there during our family vacations for four years - first dropped off when he was only six months old. Their 2-week obedience camp was a tremendous help when he was a baby and it gave him something to occupy his mind while we were gone. Buddy is always happy and excited when we arrive at Happy Tails 3-4 times per year and is greeted cheerfully by the staff (by name!)

In addition to their clean new facility, Happy Tails has a terrific selection of basic, intermediate, and advanced classes for dogs in obedience, therapy dog/companion dog certification, and rally training. Amy has given me a tremendous amount of good advice in dealing with Buddy's allergies and (yuck) car sickness (Buddy is our very first family dog).

Whether it's for a few days or a two-week family vacation, Buddy is always happy at Happy Tails. It's become his home away from home.

Great place. If you have a problem with your dog. LEAVE THEM AT THE SCHOOL. It was worth every penny!
I am now taking Kitty to Agility. I have a much closer relationship with her!

Groomer does a great job with shedding dogs.
