Tish's Auto Svc

This business was recommended to me by another car repair place. This place did not service foreign cars. They recommended Tish's because they do work on foreign cars. The service was reliable. The staff were knowledgable and courteous. However, the repair costs were fairly high compared to other places. I went there over the course of several years. One of my experiences was with a diagnostic test. They did the test but did not push the expensive fixes that might not work. They recommended a "wait and see" approach. I liked this about them. The last time I went there I got an exorbitantly high brake job.

I was looking for an auto shop that specialized in Mercedes Benz. Tish Auto was recommend by a couple of people. I went on line to check this shop out and I ran into a pretty harsh review. I asked my friends again and I was told Mark Tish is good. My car was not starting and when it did it ran real rough. Mark tested my car diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The car runs great. I guess the most impressive part of this experience was Mark himself. He was honest, kind and explained everything to me. He could have run up my bill, as I have experienced in the past. However it cost me less than his estimate. WOW!!!! that normally doesn't happen. I strongly recommend

If you are looking for affordable auto service I would NOT recommend Tish's Auto Service. I write this as a customer and also spouse of a former mechanic. Tish's has great front counter staff and are very friendly and helpful. But they are one of the highest priced Auto Mechanic's shops in the area. The other thing is over the last two years since my husband moved to another employment their service is not nearly as fast as it use to be. The good thing though is they do specialize in working on foreign and import cars.

But I would highly recommend calling around for estimates before choosing to take your car to Tish's Automotive.
