I've eaten at Ophelia's Cup on several occassions. The atmosphere is warm and engaging, while the architecture of the buidling leaps one back 80 years. I have mixed feeling on the food. The potato soup is excellent, while the the turkey used on the turkey club is of the lowest possible quality- a choice inspired in an effort to trim costs, no doubt. (What other reason could there be to conciously choose low quality meat). I hope the new owners read this review. I did everything in restaurants from dishwasher to Chef and G.M. I also owned a deli for a few years. I know from whence I speak. Another way shoudl be sought to save money- not by cutting food quality. That's like a bullet manufactuer using second rate gunpowder. The glass of milk I ordered was only 2/3's full and was watery like a no-fat product. They need to use a glass they are willing to fill to the top and use decent milk, not cheap watery milk to (again) save money. Lest I sound negative, I will say I enjoy the place and would (and will) go back. They have a nice recipe for sucess, they just need to be more careful in evaluating cost saving measures.
