WOW. Now this is the definition of GREAT TACOS! Tried the skirt steak, avocado, pork and tongue tacos -- all of them were the best I've had anywhere in Chicago Metro. Fresh, flavorful, juicy, stuffed -- AND, cheap! (only $1.80/each). They even serve Cerveza (tap or bottles). Only $1.50 for a MUG of Michelob or Bud. ($8 for pitcher). No atmosphere to speak of, but who cares -- come for the food, wolf it down, and move on. (P.S. Beats Tacalitlan hands down, and per my prior review I thought it was the best -- boy was I wrong). Now I truly know where to go for the best Tacos! Only wish I'd found out sooner. Better late than never.

Great horchatas, tacos, enchiladas all the entrees are delish. I love the enviroment especially in a late night. Nice area! They are now accepting Visa and Mastercard (min. $15.00) is great!

This is a pretty simple restaurant with great authentic Mexican food to serve the surrounding Mexican community (along with the rest of the community). The tacos are excellent and a bargain. Choices range from traditional chicken and beef to beef tongue and others. Veggie options as well. Alcohol is also available. Service is spotty.

PROS: Good inexpensive food
CONS: Service is spotty

I had the ceviche at Arturo's and it was great. Big portion and the fish was fresh. Other entrees were good as well. Cash only.

In Short
The menu is huge here, but many folks come in just for the tacos--highlights included the carne asada (dressed with grilled onions) and the carnitas (large chunks of fairly lean pork). Unlike many area taquerias,…
