This is the best family owned restaurant in Waukegan. I have been eating here for over 30 years. The family is a hard working family and know how to run a restaurant. With a full service bar, large eating menu, and great packaged liquor store, they serve all your needs. I eat here on average, twice a week. And don't forget the home made bread!

Louise is a really fine, Italian style, neighborhood restaurant. Good food, fast service and pleasant staff. Been eating there for 40 years. Check out the BarBQ sauces...great.

I really like the bar in this restaurant. It is a great place to sit down with a couple friends and unwind at the bar after work. I have ordered out from here many times and I have not been dissappointed yet. My favorite dish is the Chicken Caesar salad with double chicken. Dining in was not a great experience. The tables are very cramped and close together. It is not a good place to eat if you want to have a private conversation!

This is a old style itialian eatery (I can envision mob guys sitting at the bar years ago). Anyway - the food is good - I have not tried too many of the itams on the manu - but the lasanga and toasted garlic bread are the best, Pizza is ok - but a tad salty for my taste. The bar area is very smokey but a small room in the back is set aside for non-smokers.

Pros: lasagna, good pizza

We have been going to this neighborhood restaurant since we moved to Waukegan in 1985. For the smaller restaurant they have a big menu and many will be your favorites too! On my list: sausage pizza, Fried Chicken, Home made bread sticks, French onion soup, Chicken strips, and of course the Malidori Daiquiri!

PROS: Great "homemade" food, good prices, package store
CONS: Be prepared to share a table, Dark restaurant ,1 windows
