Hi ,
I give it 5 stars ! Jim the Owner is nice guy and his wife is very nice too. There is booth that sells toys that are wind ups and battery operated and 1 of kind that really is worth looking at. Very good priced and items You don' see at other Antique Malls ! I believe it is booth # 540 and You will love how cool these toys are. They are also originals from the 50's & 60's . I am going to buy some this weekend from that vendor !

Very overpriced and rude employees. I saw an item that I wanted to buy and it was $225.00 (way overpriced compared to Ebay) so I asked the lady at the counter if she would call the owner and see if he would sell it for $200.00 even. She said "No, because it would be a slap in the face to the dealer to offer him $25.00 less". I turned around and walked away. I'm sure the dealer would sell it for only $25.00 less and then the mall would make money as well. I'll never go back there.

Selection of merchandise is good. Very organized place.

However, the older male behind the counter was surly and rude. It was half hour before posted closing time and he became irritated that I hadn't yet made my purchases. Began yelling foul language. Other patrons walked out of there once he got going.

I had planned to purchase a few paintings but ended up leaving them behind. He was just too rude and clearly doesn't like to deal with people. If you have a booth here, there might be a reason for your sales to be lagging. This guy chases away your customers because he wants to close half hour early.

This is one of 3 antique malls we visited in one day. This one is the cleanest of the three, brightly lit too. They have some really beautiful things but many are priced out of our league. A lot of glass cases. You need to call for someone to open them. The lady was nice but the man was quite surly so I took points off for customer service. Still worth going to.

WOW..I love this mall. Clean Clean and clean..nice bathroom too. There are some really wonderful antiques and collectibles. I especially like that several different venders have greeting cards, one with cute vintage images (priced just right to buy several at a time!) There are less and less antiques malls these days, so its nice to find one with such variety.

Manteno Antique Mall is super clean and features many dealers. The atmosphere is peaceful and lends to an enjoyable, relaxing experience. The prices range from $ to $$$$, but you can always find a deal. I like that it's really lit up so you can see the merchandise- it's not dingy. The only thing I don't like is that quite a bit of the merchandise is locked up behind glass which makes it a pain to look at. If you want to see something, you have to call the owner and with so many cases, you can really begin to annoy the workers. The location is right along the train tracks in Manteno and the building is very plain on the outside, so look for the Manteno Antique Mall sign.
