Dupo Community High School

This is a town where they are trying to build it back up to what it used to be. The high school and Grade school are dealing with prinicipal changes but i tihnk they are doing a great job especially for being a student they don't have all the classes like other schools around the area but they have the basics and really are trying to provide a quality education the teachers are very much down to earth this is a school with diverse money situations some are lower class but at the same time there are middle class people and a couple upper class. In general everyone gets along with each other and i recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a everyone knows everyone kind of living.

Dupo is a strange high school, mainly because of it's location; near the downtown St. Louis and East St. Louis area, I would consider it a better high school and district choice than most in these two areas. However, only a few miles away are the top-notch Columbia and South County high schools - these are far and away better quality than Dupo. Students here are typically low to middle class and high quality teachers are difficult to attract. It is a smaller school than most in this area, however.
