Whenever I walk in they always remember me, and always try to get to people as fast as they can. They always have conversations with you, and are always pleasant. It's a not very expensive, but you have to put your own top coat on again when you get home or the paint will chip.

This place is horrible. As a customer who has been there on numerous occasions, mostly because of convenience, they are never friendly. They did my last manicure in 10 min. flat and chipped within 24 hours. They do not use good pre and post products to preserve manicures and are rude. They do not treat new, or return customers for that matter very nicely at all. This past visit was my last!! If they don't change their tune, their business could suffer.

I usually go in on Mondays or Tuesdays because its usually slower and find they have more time to tend to your needs. The manicurist are hard working, diligent, and personable. Not all the workers speak fluent English but they try to communicate the best they can and make sure you have a relaxing and wonderful experience. I recommend asking for Sue or Diana. They work fast but with great care and quality.

PROS: Works quickly and efficiently
CONS: Make appointments a few weeks in advance, esp. for weekends and holidays.

I've never had my nails done before, so when I walked into Pretty Nails, I didn?t know the (accurate) difference between a manicure and fake nails. A manicurist from another nail salon told me that fake nails were artificial nails put on your natural nails, and a manicure was sort of like a spa for your hands and nails. So when one of the working ladies asked me what I wanted, I asked for both. She gave me a weird look and asked me again, and I gave her the same answer. She laughed and exchanged a comment with her other co-workers (in a foreign language) before asking me again and again, Do you want fake nails or a manicure ? not bothering to tell me the difference. And finally, realizing something was wrong, I asked for the fake nails. Even halfway through my nail service, the workers continued to laugh at my lack of knowledge and mistake (they used the English words, ?fake nails? and ?manicure?). I was quite humiliated. After buffing, applying, and painting my nails, my manicurist told me to put them under a ultraviolet lamp and so I did. He talked to his co-worker and walked in and out of the nail salon - he was going to pick somebody up for an event later that day (nothing to do with the business). A couple seconds after he had left, he came back inside to tap me on the shoulders and tell me I was finished. The workers again laughed at my inexperience. I have a hunch he "forgot" on purpose.

The nails turned out very pretty but when I inspected them more carefully, a couple of my fake nails were uneven.

PROS: Somewhat professional and okay job.
CONS: The people
