Hudson Jewelers

I am so impressed by this independent family-owned jeweler! We have lived in the area for many years now, and when Hudson's came to town we (and so many others) were just thrilled to have them in Edwardsville. Just a nice, kind and knowledgeable group of people who aren't pushy or snobby. I have my wish-list there and they always treat our family right. The Hudson family is so trustworthy too - they take care of all of our family heirlooms. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for coming to Edwardsville! We really needed a jeweler of your caliber here :)

We are just ordinary people who have been royally treated by an extraordinary man. John is so very helpful as he assist you in finding the right piece as you purchase something for yourself or a loved one. It is always a pleasant experience with the added benefit of having someone you trust. I would say their motto could easily be Hudson Jewelers - truly a caring business for all your fine jewelry purchases.

I had went in to Hudson's to have a specialty wedding ring made for my wife and was very pleased with the final outcome of the jewelry. Virgil (I think was his name) helped me to pick out what diamonds I wanted from their selection and told me what he believed would look best with my choices. The only problem I had was the jeweler that made my rings did not live up to my standards, but I have been back recently and they now have an on site jeweler that is much better.

I must really compliment Hudson Jewelers on their selection, price and world class store. Everyone was so helpful and not snobby at all. It was more than I expected and I will go back again, no question. In other stores I've been to the sales people either ignore you or push you, but not at Hudson Jewelers. And the sales person actually KNEW about jewelry! Imagine that!

I got a really great gift for my wife at a more than reasonable price. People had always told me to go there, and now I wish I had listened to them sooner instead of going to the bigger chain stores all the time. (Hudson's quality is much better too)

First of all, WOW!

This jewelry store is not only beautiful on the inside, but the people there are just so helpful, kind and caring. They didn't pressure me at all, and they really get to know YOU while they are working with you. They have a GIA Gemologist there, so I felt very comfortable about getting what I paid for.

One of the young ladies working helped me, and even though they didn't have in stock what I wanted, she ordered it for me and got it fast for the special occasion! I will definitely be shopping there for my jewelry and gifts from now on.

Hudson Jewelers is really a warm and inviting experience from the moment you walk in the doors. The sales people are not pushy at all, and let you brows. When you are ready to purchase something, the prices are VERY good compared to other stores in the St. Louis area! They even have lay-a-way if I wanted to get something earlier in the year and pay it off for Christmas.

I really get a good feeling there, and they are a family business with a flawless reputation! I recommend them to EVERYONE!

PROS: Beautiful store, easy parking, friendly and knowlegeble staff, GOOD VALUES!
CONS: Far from home, but worth it!

I have to thank John at Hudson Jeweler's for helping my fiance create the perfect engagement ring. My fiance spent about 6 months working with John Hudson designing my one-of-a-kind engagement ring and accompanying wedding band. They are absolutely beautiful. The people at Hudson's are friendly and informative and are more than willing to work with you to help you create something truly special for someone in your life who is equally as special.

This is a family owned jewelry store that has been in business for many, many years. When you go inside to browse, the workers are very courteous and understanding and do not push you to hurry up and make a decision. When you are ready to make a purchase, they are there to assist your needs in a very friendly way. The jewelry they sell is first class and there is a wide variety to choose from.

While you don't get a warm fuzzy feeling when walking in
Hudson Jewelers, you do see some nice jewelry pieces. The store is adequately stocked with a variety of mid to over priced bridal sets, along with other token pieces. They offer a nice selection of gift items, to include clocks and figurines. It is soft on the eyes, and the fountain draws you in. They do offer some select pieces that they create, and have a license on. Very unique, yet ordinary.
