If you live in the area of this bar, you're guaranteed to end up there late one night. It's a great late night bar, staying open much later than most bars in the area-as well as serving food really late. (i've gone in to just get food to go at 230am on my way home) The downstairs gets pretty crowded, I think because most people don't know there are two other floors. The crowd sometimes is a little bit too yuppy/bitchy/drunk, but you just have to laugh at them.

Pros: good late night food, late night scene, locality

Cons: crowd too drunk, sometimes

A great neighborhood place: catch a game on the TVs, play your favorite tunes on the jukebox, and eat the tastiest most tender ribs around in this bar (burgers are pretty good too). Your mom would call it a dive, perhaps, but the service can't be beat: bartenders always seem to know when you're ready for the next round. Good selection of beers, Pub grub is fine and there's no attitude in the patrons or the staff.

Since the early 1980s, this Old Town institution has quenched the thirsts of Tim Allen, Carrot Top and the late Chris Farley, among others, after they finished gigs at neighboring comedy clubs Zanies and Second City.…
