Nookies Too

Went in for brunch with a friend, and we were not disappointed. The only negative thing was the wait - it was slammed. Once we were seated though, we were given menus and waters right away. The eggs benedict was great and a decent price ($8.) Service was understandably a bit slow, which was fine as we were in no hurry.

The one time I had the time to wait for a table at Nookies, I was certainly glad I had done so. When I walked in, the interior of the restaurant was bustling and bright, somewhat different from the old-school sign on the outside. My friends and I were seated in the back room which gave me the opportunity to scope out the dishes of the other diners and everything looked AMAZING. It was almost impossible for me to choose what to eat, but I ended up with a veggie omelette and wheat toast. It was a good thing they brought the toast first because I was famished from waiting for our table. The omelette was a little cheesier than I had hoped, but ultimately it was great. My friends were also quite happy with their meals. The prices are standard for brunch plates and the portions are huge. I was most impressed with their more inventive dishes which expanded the typical brunch menu to include thing like tortilla soup. I can't wait to go back again, for brunch, lunch or dinner!
