I have never posted a review of anything online prior to this, but my experience at goskand sports left me with no other option. I have been to goskand a few times before and I've always walked away empty handed due to their high prices. When I saw they did ski tune-ups for a reasonable price, I figured I would give them a chance. I took my skis in on a Friday evening. the woman I spoke to, who I believe was an owner, was rude and and rushed me as I inquired into the services. I was told the skis wouldn't be worked on until at least the following Thursday, which was okay with me. I returned three weeks later to pick up my skis and this time I dealt with an older gentleman, who I believe was the other owner. He seemed nice and asked if everything was good. Upon a quick inspection of the base and edges, I asked why I didn't receive the stonegrind I had asked for. Unlike the lady who accepted my skis, he explained that they didn't have the machine for the particular stonegrind I had asked for. Since the tune-up looked good enough, I paid and left. Upon arriving at home, I noticed the rear tip(twin tip skis) of one ski had been crushed or bludgeoned. I returned the next day and first spoke to the rude lady who called over the older gentleman. Both denied that it happened there, but neither worked on the skis and the guy who did wasn't there. The man told me I accepted the condition of the skis the day prior and they were fine, then continued to tell me that I had brought them in that condition and I had damaged them. He also told me to deal with the ski manufacturer. The lady returned and the man disappeared. She continued to deny any wrong doing while raising her voice and telling me I received the service that I had paid for. They accused me of trying to get new skis and refused to compensate me. All I wanted was a refund. Since my skis were not brand new and the damage would not affect the performance of the ski, I thought it would only be fair. Instead, I walked away extremely dissatisfied. I am a former ski technician, so I am familiar with skis and working on them. I am an avid skier who works in the customer service industry and I have never had such a terrible and insulting customer service experience.
