We use to go to Edgebrook Coffee Shop every Sunday, but unfortunately we stop going. The waiting for food became way to long, 30 minutes to 45 minutes, from the looks of it they cook each order individually we know it's a small place, but they need to learn to multitask and while your waiting you have this annoying waitress talking to everyone and anyone loud as can be she is the reason we will not go back which it a shame. On a good note the Food is good, just expect to wait a long time and have your ears talked off.

I liked the old style serving bar with stools and mostly black and white vintage pictures covering the walls. Nice vintage decor. The seating is only by the counter and on weekends be prepared to wait.
This is really one of these true neighborhood places where staff knows most of their clients.
It is only open for breakfast and lunch. You see whole food preparation in front of you. Good place for quick, very casual breakfast on the run if you here but I would not drive for this place specifically.

The food is pretty decent and you get pretty big size portions. Most of the food tastes bland. Using better quality food ingredients would help this place definitely.

Efgebrook coffee shop is located in the trendy neighborhood of Edgebrook in Chicago. The food is awesome, affordable, and the atmosphere can't be beat. We love it there! Try their skillets!

this tiny little place is a hiden treasure! it's had good food for reasonnable prices ($5.25 for the eggs benedict or the gypsy skillet ) and the owners are extremelly friendly. it looks like a coffee shop from the fifties and everybody seats at the counter to eat. the atmosphere is great!
it's really busy in the morning so get there early!
