I had gone to my old stylist, 100 miles from here, until I finally decided to find a new, local place. I read about Trio on Citysearch and decided to try it out...I am now hooked. Their customer service is outstanding. The emphasis is on you. Then the quality of my cut and highlights (Highlights: Renata and Cut: Aaron) were superb. Never before have I been asked where I get my hair done, and told that it's the best that it has ever looked. They take their time and the finished product is amazing. I wasn't used to spending over $300 every 6-8 weeks, but for this service, I am more than willing. Now, I can't wait to go get my hair done! Renata and Aaron are not only very friendly and full of professional advice, but they're extremely talented.

I travel in from the suburbs just to have Jeri Delgado cut my hair. I have known her for about six years now and have never before experienced such a master. She sees things and expresses herself in ways that most stylists don't even have access to. To expand her own development she even travels to a special training in England each year on her own dollar.

Jeri directs the training at the salon and can get busy, but you want to rearrange your schedule to get with her. She is a positive, generous energy who has organized a number of special makeovers for women in shelters.

There is nothing like the experience of trusting your stylist and loving your haircut each time. I can even go twice as long between cuts since my hair is so perfectly sculpted.

Diana is the best colorist in a salon where color is an art. Trio has taken this service to a new level with its focus on specialization and expertist. The beautiful new location is conveniently located near north Michigan avenue shopping, making a visit to salon a treat.

I have to say that I have been to alot of salons in Chicago and I couldn't be happier! Shelly at Trio is the best! I FINALLY found someone who listens and actually did what she said she was going to do! I just wish I would have found her 10 years ago!!!!! CALLTRIO FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH SHELLY!!! I felt so at home with the entire staff at Trio Salon on Wabash. I have been to see Shelly about 4 times now and I have to say that I feel like I've known her for years! She is a wonderful stylist who really listens to your needs. I get compliments on my hair all the time, which I have to say has never happened to me before. I always thought that I had "bad hair." But Shelly gave me a stlye that really is perfect for my hair texture. I love the way she showed me how to dry my hair and all of the products she recommended ACTUALLY WORK!! So, if you need a new lease on life (as far as your hair goes), ask to see Shelly!!!!

I have been seeing Jaci for her coloring services for more years than
I can remember. She has an eye for consistently achieving the Best results.
Whatever the season, Jaci actively listens and then adjusts accordingly,

I get my hair cut by Edda Coscioni at the Tri Salon on Wabash and actually look forward to getting my hair cut.

I've always wanted to try different haircut styles but never really trusted anyone to do a good job so would always wind up with the same old cut. Edda really knows how to cut hair- she is thoughtful about what cuts fit or don't fit and understands head and face shapes. Her knowledge really put me at ease to go ahead and try out new cuts and so now I really get to experience the benefits of both her knowledge and her creativity. I don't recall ever getting so many compliments after getting my haircut.

Good haircuts aside, you really get the feeling Edda cares a lot about about what she does and cares about her clients as well.

The staff at Trio Salon is also highly committed to customer service and a welcoming atmosphere awaits when you enter. I highly recommend a visit!

Going to Diana at Trio Salon on Wabash turned out to be one of the best things I have ever done for myself. She listens to you say "I want something subtle", then translates it into science and art speak , and you end up looking amazing. Diana transforms your hair (and you) into something very special. I am so glad I found her.

diana & theresa took my ruined hair & created a fabulous new me in just a few hours. theresa is a witch with the sissors. diana is magic with color. they both understood instantly what i wanted. they took the time to talk with me about what i wanted, my lifestyle, skin color etc. nicole for wax was the best & least painful ever. all i can say is WOW!

After a bad botch job from a previous salon, I turned to Diana at Trio cause of her reputation in the City and in the industry. Diana took her time to consult with me at to put me at ease and the aftermath is that I have been a loyal client since. She understands her clients and makes us them feel so beautiful walking out of the salon. She keeps abreast of industry techniques and is always offering suggestions based on what you want and your lifestyle. If you haven't visited Diana, I suggest you make an appointment with her.

I have been going to Trio for years?and over the years people have told me about other salons using their own hair as an example?I don?t mean to be rude to my friends, but none of them look as good as I do!

At Trio the service is great; the stylists are pleasant and professional. Diana (color specialist) has to be one of the best in the business; she transforms you from ordinary to extraordinary (the best that YOU can be) with excellent professional advice and great skill. I have had more compliments on my 'natural' blonde hair (I used to be a brunette); no one can believe my hair is colored because it looks so good!!

For cuts I have had Alex, Josie, Thor and Morgan all of who are excellent.

I love Trio and I HIGHLY recommend it as the best hair salon in town!!

I just have to say that I have been to alot of salons in Chicago and there is not one that compares to Trio. I had the best experience there. From the minute I walked in until I left I felt like for the first time a salon really appreciated me as a client. Shelly cut my hair and I have to say that not only was it a great cut, but the time she took with the consultaion made me feel so comfortable. Phillip and Alex have been coloring and cutting my hair for 11 years.
I get compliments literally every week.
I get stopped walking on the street by people asking who does my cut and complimenting the color.
I have lived in many cities and have never found any salon as wonderful as Trio

I am VERY particular about my hair and after many years of searching for the perfect cut and the pefect color blonde hair, I found it with Theresa (stylist) and Diana (colorist) who are both located at Trio on Wabash. I have been going to Trio for years and I always know that when I walk out after a color and cut from Diana and Theresa that I am going to look and feel fabulous...which is the reason that I always book something special on the evenings of my visits.

I have been a loyal client of Shelly's for about 10 years. I used to go to the local salon to get my haircut not thinking that it really mattered what my hair looked like. Shelly really took the time to ask me my likes and dislikes of previous haircuts. No one ever asked me those kind of questions about my hair. Not only does Shelly know how to cut and style my hair, but she took the time to show me how to create that same trendy look at home. I am so happy that I found someone like Shelly to take care of my hair. I see her every 3 weeks so my hair always looks great!! She's the best. if you ask for Teresa for your hair cut and Diana for your color. Both truly are artists and do wonders for your hair. I have seen people come in with horrible cuts and overprocessed hair and they walk out looking fabulous. I have been a client for years and a week does not go by that I do not receive a compliment on my cut and color. Teresa and Diana have wonderful personalities, not like some prima donnas in downtown Chicago. They do not waste your time as they make effective recommendations on what shape or color would best suit your hair and facial features and they go from there. Do your hair a favor, make an appointment with Teresa and Diana, you will not be sorry.

As a guy I was looking for something better than a SuperCuts, but I did not want to spend a fortune. I found Edda and I am extremely happy. She listens to me and gives me the exact haircut I want everytime. Plus she has hours at all three locations so that gives me flexibility as to when and where I can see her. Also, at other Salons sometimes I felt like I was walking into an all Women's clubhouse, Trio made me feel right at home.

Theresa and Diana have been cutting and coloring my hair for over ten years now. They are really experienced, fashion forward and have great instincts for what works. I have been in to see them many times without having a clear idea of what I want and their suggestions are always right on. I trust them completely and have never been disappointed.

Jaci is the best colorist in Chicago!! Since going to her for highlights almost 5 years ago, I have never been unhappy. That says alot because I am VERY particular. Everytime I see her she analyses my hair and determines what needs to be done. She is very professional, kind and friendly. As my hightlights grow out they still looks great. She is excellent!!! Give her a try - you won't be disapponted.

After moving from the city 14 years ago, I was devastated to have to succomb to orange hair highlights. A friend from Chicago recommended Trio and I was lucky enough to meet Jaci! Never an orange highlight job again! Not only does Jaci do a fabulous job but she is oh, so sweet! I can go a long time in between appointments (only if I have to- I am addicted to lots of great blonde highlights) because her experience and technique of highlighting does not leave any kind of stripe with outgrowth. She can go from the super natural looking color to really funky and make the color look as though it grew out of your scalp that way. Just show her a picture or tell her what you do and don't like - Jaci will make you look fabulous! Jaci is so good at listening and when I am in her chair, I KNOW that my color will be the best ever. She is fast too! It is always worth the 2 1/2 hour drive!!!! Many of my friends go to her too! You'll love her work!!!!!!!!

A few years ago,I was lucky enough to meet Jaci and have her work her magic on me! I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted-she listened to me, assessed my color and told me what she thought would look great. I trusted her, Jaci's knowledge,confidence, and concern for giving me the best look- a look she knew I would be happy with won me over! I have been looking for a good colorist for about a year and a half and I finally found one in Diana. She was recommended by a friend and the experience was great. I was greeted immediately and taken care of right from the start. She didn't keep me waiting and gave me great hints as to where to go with my color. My hair looks great and I will be coming back again . Highly recommended.

Shelly Aguirre used to be my hair dresser when I lived in Chicago. I have been unable to find anyone as good as her since I moved to San Francisco. She knows how to cut and style hair better than anyone I know. She is detail-oriented and knows how to make you feel pretty :-)

I had her do my hair for my wedding, and it really made the day very special. She's fantastic.

My favorite colorist is Diana - she's amazing (especially for blondes, which I am). And Josie is my favorite person for a haircut and blowdry. This place is great! I have only been once and am already loyal! I have very fine hair and with my old cut it wasnt doing a thing and was hard to manage. Alex is the best! He gave me a great style which is also easy to manage. I highly recommend him and I will be back! The rest of the staff was friendly as well.

Edda has cut and styled my hair for the past year. She has everything I want in a stylist: rapport, creativity, and trustworthiness. I always leave my hair in the hands of my stylist--Edda knows what cut will look best with my face shape and my personality, so I trust her to be creative and give me a great cut. Trio is a great salon,I have been a loyal customer for about 8 years. It is an upscale salon without all the attitude. Very friendly environment, I always feel welcome and comfortable. I know I am in good hands with their stylists and colorists, they are truly experts! Seriously, Every single time I leave Trio I get compliments on my hair from total strangers. I have even received several compliments from stylists(from other salons) that have seen me in passing on the street or out and about around town. If that isn't the ultimate compliment I know what is!

Needed a cut and color,went to North Ave. Rae cut my hair and did a wonderful job. I went from fruppy to glamorous. I went to the Wabash salon for color. The colorist was pleasant however when she set the timer for my color to come off no one was around. I had to ask someone to wash the color off my hair. The woman who washed it off, put so much conditioner in my hair that it became flat and lifeless after I left the shop. She left me to finish my own hair, when Alex saw that I was blowing out my own hair he offered to finish my hair. I left the shop with damp hair and looking worse than when I walked in.

Morgan has been cutting my hair for over two years now. With his creativity, knowledge and skill he can look at you and create the best hair style and cut for your face and body.

he is absolutly the best this salon has to offer. He is a new stylist here and originated from Vidal Sassoon. He is the stylist that no matter where he goes you will follow him and nver let another person cut your hair.

So if you are looking for a new look or even some flair for your current look. I recommend Morgan for a consultation and cut. You will wonder what you have been waiting for and where he has been hiding.

I've been going to Diana for my highlights for several years now and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Seriously - if I moved from Chicago, I would fly in for my appointments with her.
Recently started going to Rosalind for my haircuts and she is fabulous. My cut is perfection.
I highly recommend Trio.
