I've never eaten at a Korean BBQ place before. We heard lots of good things on chowhound.com about this Lincolnwood area establishment. We got there early because we didn't want to miss the bus back to the red line train. Since we were the first ones there, we couldn't look around and see other people and what they were eating. So, we ordered pan-fried potstickers, one order of BBQ Beef (bulgogi) and a soup. Since we only ordered one BBQ order, they said that it had to be cooked in the kitchen. No problem. Potstickers were great, BBQ beef was good, too. After trying the various side dishes we now know that if it's red, it's probably hot! If I went again, I would definately order 2 BBQ beef and get the live coals.

After we started eating other people started showing up and ordering the BBQ. They looked like they were having a great time grilling their own food and wrapping everyting in lettuce wraps. I then knew the proper way to order--and eat--the Korean BBQ.

A little confusing about how to 'check out'. The staff never gave us a check and finally I went to the cash register at the counter and they rang me up. Apparently this is the way it's done here, now we know!
