Creepy?

by Jason H.

This is a book store for those who truly love books, a book store with soul. A viable alternative to the lifeless and antiseptic commericial chains such as Borders or Barnes and Noble, if you are look for affordable books, this is the place. If you're looking for hard to find or out of print items, this is the place.

And a person who would think this place was creepy is, without a doubt, a creepy person themselves.

creepy

by Andy M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,795

I am sure that I am in the minority when I say that this bookstore kind of gives me the creeps. I can get into the idea of a dusty old bookstore full of treasures, but this place is like a little hobbit hole full of twists and turns and things to bump your head on. Plus it stinks. I could live happily without ever going in there again.

can hang here for hours!

by Marie W. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,846

this is my favorite place to buy used books! Its cozy and full of little rooms divided by subject at the owner's discretion. Great selection of jazz up front, too. Sometimes a little pricey, but worth it for the amazing selection he has gathered. Books on Egypt abound! Love the homegrown atmosphere that's hard to find these days.
